The Danes have never been able to catch a break against these ****s since the Viking Age ended.

I think by the letter of the law - they are probably all correct decisions/

Not part of the fun side of football though are they? Really think they need to look at some rules again now we have VAR, its ruling too much out which by the naked eye - would never have been given. Not sure that's what football as entertainment was built on.

According to the laws of the game, that disallowed goal was offside but the tip of the boot isn’t really in the spirit of the game or the original intention behind the offside rule being introduced. Surely the sport can come up with a better way.

And that handball decision was really dubious in my opinion.

Yellow card for Maehle after Sane dived. Maehle now misses the next game, if they get through. Really poor officiating.

VAR has changed things from 'is there a reason to rule it out' to 'is there a reason not to give it' in my eyes.

If someones half a yard offside
Rule it out
Someone an inch at most
Where you need to draw silly lines
Is where it needs to **** off

Its not like tennis with the hawkeye
So its not even fully accurate anyway

What’s the tolerance then? 2 inches? 2.5? 2.875? VAR has allowed these crazily tight decisions to be made. If you don’t like ‘em, blame VAR not the fine margins.

I have several issues with VAR, but one I've never understood is that whilst the bar is high for it to intervene on some incidents (has to be a clear and obvious error), it seems like when it comes to giving penalties for handball they just can't resist using it. It doesn't have to be either clear, obvious or even remotely logical. Just any sniff of giving one and they get involved. Why doesn't that have to be a clear and obvious error by the referee too?

The handball in this game - did it even change the flight of the ball? It was the smallest of touches, does it really matter?

It should be like tennis where each team has three VAR challenges a game.
