George Best

Yeah, **** Stanley Matthews.

And Puskas. And Di Stefano. And Garrincha. And Meazza. And Dean. And Yashin. And Finney. Etc., etc.

Saw him play at BP a few times, can't say he left a lasting impression on me tbh

I struggle to remember last week, but how many times did he play at BP? I know there was the Watney cup game with Man U. I must have been there as I have the program with my writing the score in it, can't remember the game though.
Northern Ireland played a game at BP don't know if i was there or if he played.
Then when Man U. were in the second division, was he still playing or had he already retired / given up?

Why is my reply in the box bit

Either I'm being wooshed or this is Not606 history in the making right here.

Not whooshing at all, I do not know if he's dead or not. George Best means nothing to me, not even slightly interested in him as a player or person. Think he came across as a bit of a ****.
