Was hoping to watch Murray this afternoon, but not playing this early...though his brother is playing later this evening in the doubles. Thought I had my afternoon sorted....so will have to watch the rugby league match (England v Australia). Belated congrats to the rugby union team with their victory over South Africa.
The Prince of Darkness and Enemy of the Good (otherwise known as Djokovic) has beaten Thiem and progressed in the tennis finals.
Surreal moment in a very wet F1 as Felipe Massa (retiring) receives a guard of honour down the pit lane (having just crashed out), whilst the race is still going on
Missed a bit of the GP, how did Rosberg get back ahead of Verstappen? in fact what happened to Verstappen to drop him so far back!
Max changed from wets to inters then back to wets. Tell you what, Hamilton might witter on about Senna until he's blue in the face, but it's Max Verstappen that drives like him. Incredible stuff.
He clearly had a huge advantage in grip and under breaking at the end then, but he's something special. His overtakes are indeed incredible
Not too much. He was just on a different plane today. Ricciardo changed at the same time and was nowhere near him. He's very, very, very special. Really reminds me of Ayrton when he started.
True, but Verstappen is a lot better than Ricciardo imo. He was special today, and in the right car it won't be too long until he's a world champion. Great save from his spin as well
Hmm....I wouldn't say a lot better. I think he has a much higher ceiling, but then I think he has a higher ceiling than Hamilton, and that's saying something. He could be the best we've seen since Senna.
I think Ricciardo is underrated. It would be interesting if you could get every driver in the same car with no engine trouble or strategy. I would go Hamilton, Ricciardo, MVS. Rosberg is my favourite driver, I started supporting him when Kubica left F1
Dani Ric is very very good. I'd go - HAM/VES/ALO RIC/VET BUT/ROS/BOT Of the big names. People like Wehrlein and Ocon have talent there too. Vandoorne who's joining the party next year is special as well.
