Hamilton wins with Rosberg second. Lewis done what he can but Rosberg will be pretty happy with that. Hamilton now joint 2nd in all time race wins on 51.
Last two laps were exciting, nearly fell asleep before that! Don't think they should have broadcast Vettel's rant at Charlie Whiting mind
I've stoically sat through discussions of Saints loss on Sky and carried on listening through Koeman talking about Everton's win, so what had me reaching for the mute button. Ruddy American football, that's what. There is only so much a girl can take. Manager calling a time out just as the opposition scored a penalty...subsequently missed on a retake. Can you imagine giving that power during a proper game....like real football. Train your team before the match and trust them to remember instructions till half-time (or whatever it's called in this parody of rugby). Did I say that I hate this game!!! I know some of you love it and will say I would if I understood it....but not prepared to give up any of my life to do it. There...I've discovered my inner Godders.
I am with u Fran on American football........a group of us once got talked with into watching the Super Bowl.....never been so bored in all my life.
I enjoy the 10 minutes or so of actual American football you get in the average game, but the incessant breaks and timeouts drive me to distraction.
I had the misfortune to be invited to a NY Jets game when I lived in the States. I thought it would be interesting. After the first 10 minutes I'd had enough and I sat (and walked around) for FOUR and a bit hours, for 90 mins or so of "play". No thanks - I'd rather stick pins in my eyes. The good news is that more and more yanks are getting into rugby and "sahcar", so there's a little hope for them yet. The only decent US sport is ice hockey - that's much more fun!
Agreed re Ice Hockey. I went to a Chicago Bulls vs San Francisco Knicks basketball game - Michael Jordan, Dennis Rodman, all the stars. Seldom been so bored in my life.
http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/boxing/37838708 AJ to fight Molina. Hardly a test, and on PPV. I'd say Whyte vs Chisora looks more exciting.
Can't see too many paying for that. If he wins though the WBA have sanctioned the belt for him and Klitschko in Spring.
Murray looked in real trouble, then he got a time violation and booed by the crowd and he turned it round. Through to next round.
