We have a similar (different scale) issue with a generation of fans who have experienced our rise from League One in 2008 through winning the Championship, Premier League, FA Cup and challenging for CL places ... they think that is the norm rather than the reality of us being a yo-yo club from the 60s onwards with some god awful dross interspersed by the odd bright period under managers like O'Farrell, Bloomfield, Jock Wallace, Gordon Milne, Martin O'Neil prior to Pearson, Ranieri and Rodgers ... bunch of entitled twats ...

It's them rather than old ****ers like me who are now bleating and wailing about our current woes...

I'm old enough to remember watching Arsenal in the early and mid 80's (when I first started going) okay we weren't Division 2 dross, but we weren't exactly pulling up any trees either. Stood and watched some absolute dirge in those days.

Then George Graham came along and we started winning things, then came Wenger and we became a power house. A lot of fans have only known Arsenal like this, as a team who win things, but all teams, Utd, Liverpool included go through periods of transition, rebuild and refresh.

Where Arteta has got us now, from those post Wenger days is remarkable. But we unfortunately have more than a few fans who are just entitled and think that if we're not winning a trophy every season then everything has turned to ****.

It was away. Brentford have just come off the back of beating Toon and winning at Villa, so they are no pushover

I agree as title challengers we want to be winning these games

But as the game went last night, we could just have easily have lost it.

So if you can't win, make sure you don't lose.
You've gone from a nine point gap to a four point gap, with no games in hand and City still to play.

It was only a 9pt gap because we had played an extra game than City at that point. When they won it, it was 6 points.

Last round, they won, we drew. That's football.

No bro, from income tax

You know the same Tax that Jim Ratcliffe swerves because he doesn't want to contribute, but blames the darkies for draining the resources.

Lol, you'll brush off a £4bn tax dodge but cry about Omar getting a £29 food voucher

Anyway, let's take this to the politicz thread :emoticon-0165-muscl

@Libby our Sky overlords have spoken and you’ll be setting off for Coventry at 7am

Middlesbrough v Bristol City early KO. Football for the fans.

Not a fan of the early kick offs but at least this one isn't far to go. Our last 2 was Norwich and Stoke. Definitely won't need to leave at 7.

Making Bristol City schlep up to Boro at that time is a massive pisstake though.

Pompey v Derby moved to Monday. Pretty niche audience when they’ve also got a Prem game on. Nobody needs this even if there is a small market for a 12:30 Champ game every week.
