Goes a small way to making up for the time they went bust and took advantage of the lack of rules at the time. Meh.
Remember before the rules when clubs took advantage of having the most money.

"I thought the referee did well"That’s at least six quite clear reds Liverpool have now avoided this season.

Because they were coming from a league below initially, it wasn't sustained and over a longer period other clubs spent more.
Nobody has won anything using local talent from local areas alone since long before the moon landing though, so anyone pretending they've won anything without spending large sums of money is an Ostrich.
so they weren't punished .They were already trying to meet the horseshit of financial regulations before relegation.
Who said that’s the way it should be. But you and fosse are cry arsing about other clubs who have built their brand. Built on success and grown.
so they weren't punished .
Like Newcastle smashing the transfer record for Shearer. ….Remember before the rules when clubs took advantage of having the most money.
How did they get “the most money”.Remember before the rules when clubs took advantage of having the most money.

In those days it was wealthy owners, which wasn’t exclusive to just them, commercial activities, which again wasn’t exclusive to them, or being able to put more bums on seats, Newcastle have had all of those, but in relative terms haven’t been successful. Why was that?
no they were not. They had the 7th highest wage bill the year they went down
why didn’t Newcastle build on the modest success of the 90’s.
They expanded the stadium, signed a striker for a world record fee etc.
Paid big money fees and wages.
Liverpools success mostly came from before Sky mate, so that’s just nonsense. As a 60 year old, I remember TV coverage of the old first division which was pretty much the Big MatchTV money and winning the big hands at the right time. Then pulling up the drawbridge after them.

You’ll never sing thaaaaaat
England presumably rather than Britain.
If they were allowed to spend they would have.
Really it's not rocket science this lads.
