How did they get “the most money”.
In those days it was wealthy owners, which wasn’t exclusive to just them, commercial activities, which again wasn’t exclusive to them, or being able to put more bums on seats, Newcastle have had all of those, but in relative terms haven’t been successful. Why was that?

 

no they were not. They had the 7th highest wage bill the year they went down
