Course he is - United and Liverpool fans obviously won't agree ... and neither will Gutsy... coz it's me posting it <laugh>

We’re going down that road again are we <laugh>
You’ve had over a 100 years to stake your claim and a seat at the top table. The fact you haven’t isn’t the fault of the clubs you mention. Like many clubs, you’ve had decades of limited, to no success, whilst being able to compete on an equal footing.
You have had more “black marks” for your off-field activities than the “gold stars” for success on it, but somehow that’s every other club’s fault <laugh>

Mate - everybody knows their place in football - you more than most <laugh>

All I want to see for the remainder of my footballing spectatorship is my club attempting to play entertaining attacking football... and if I'm not watching my club, then others doing the same - but will I love it if a club like Bournemouth get top 4 and push an established nose out? - too ****ing right - even if their success is short lived because the vultures are already circling ...

Yeah, sorry about your wish of attacking football.

maybe when you are back in division 2 it will be something you can see.

It's never been equal opportunities - the best players follow the money - the more money the better chance of success ... the more clubs willing (able) to pay, then the more competitive the league ...

when you had the 7th highest wage bill in the PL…..

what ever happened.

I'm olny 65 mate ...

... and you're entitled to your opinion(s) - even if they are largely bollocks - which is mine ...

As to staking our claim - 4th most successful club in Britain over the last decade and a half will do for me ... particularly as it was achieved on a fraction of the spend of those around us <cheers>

You’ll never sing thaaaaaat

England presumably rather than Britain.

why didn’t Newcastle build on the modest success of the 90’s.
They expanded the stadium, signed a striker for a world record fee etc.

Paid big money fees and wages.

Because they were coming from a league below initially, it wasn't sustained and over a longer period other clubs spent more.

Nobody has won anything using local talent from local areas alone since long before the moon landing though, so anyone pretending they've won anything without spending large sums of money is an Ostrich.

Whilst not all born in Manchester, Utd were quite successful with the talent they bought through their academy <whistle>

Having already spent money and continued. I know people like to bullshit themselves, but without money none of that ever happens.

There's a reason why certain clubs wanted to run away from competition and its because they know fine well they ain't running classes.
