Stones was another 50m right?

Peeps a fuking genius, so blessed to have him in the game.

I’m not knocking the bloke tbh. His teams are a joy to watch and all that...

But until he has to choose between an out of position CB or a kid from the U23s making his debut, to cover for an injured RB, I won’t rush to fawn over him. Let’s face it, my mum could win the league with City’s squad.

oh come on...there’s such a thing as overkill

I prefer a team that mixes it up...dynamic and direct instead of trying to walk it in every time.
You'd need Klopp for that.

Pep just tiki taka with his pick of the best players

Easy work.

I like the myth he improves every player that he touches.

Its utter bollocks

Plenty of managers have had plenty of cash to throw about and have failed. Pep also coaches very good players into world class players. You can visibly see the improvement in players like De Bruyne and Stirling.

Good points ... but United have spent the most over the same years as Pep has been over here and haven't ... so it's not ALL about the money ... but it obviously helps. <cheers>

can you?

Sterling still misses all the tap ins he missed at Liverpool. Just gets more to miss at city.

Myth

I'm still not convinced Sterling is as good as made out. Looks okay with the time and space afforded when in a team of superstars but couldn't be the main man somewhere imo.

Klopp doing his usual of reaching success and then failing to maintain it. He can build very good teams but only the worldy managers can maintain success, year on year.

I’d much rather play for Klopp than Pep.

Pep the kinda guy who thinks he’s a professor and thinks his way out of the CL quarters every season <laugh>

same again this year

Hes no better player than when he left us.

Peeps who think he is are Pep gassed.

I see what you see...he would just become a Saint Maximimian of Newcastle if he played for anyone lesser than the top few teams.
