I'll take your word for that being the case this season, because I haven't been paying close attention. But form is temporary, class is permanent. And there aren't many players anywhere in the world in Mane's class when he's at his best. Quite similar to Sterling in many ways, but that little bit more slippery and unpredictable, and generally finishes better too imo.

Despite all their cash, Pep is for me still head and shoulders above any manager in this league tactically. Last night he obvs knew we’d have little threat down the right hand side, with Holgate / Iwobi, so first half he gave the LB Cancelo virtually a free role, the bloke was virtually playing a No.8 / 10 until Mina went off injured and we brought Coleman on who at least offered some penetration down that flank and Pep reigned Cancelo in a bit after that.

When they’re fully at it, like they’ve been of late and you’ve got a bloke as astute as him pulling the strings, they’re just on a different level.
 
I'd have the Firmino/Salah goal against Leicester in the mix ( though but winning) and with my Newcastle glasses on I'd probably say our best goals this month were the Asprilla hat-trick against Barcelona.
