Did you read it? They had no dosh for transfers and had to concentrate on their youth set up, which lead them to success. So no.
no, he paid for a train station at Old Trafford instead, to tempt back its lost support, then rebuilt OT, and then built a training ground, all of which probably cost more than players would have at the time. He bought a plaything, like Roman, the only difference is he was a fan beforehand, but what he did was essentially the same.

the first world war had been long finished when Man Utd were pumped full of cash in the mid 30's, it was about their debt, dwindling crowds, no success etc, not to dssimilar to Chelsea pre-Roman
That’s a long time to hold a grudge based on a half truth.

The only grudge I have in footbal is Hackett, it was never a sending off v Forest.
though his decision did give end up giving me my proudest moment in relation to West Ham

Mate it's a compliment on his dribbling abilities. I would say Traore is probably the most dangerous dribbler in the whole league. It's just everything else (passing, crossing, shooting, knowing what to do with the ball) which is at a level of a 5 year old. Comparing Lucas dribbling to Traore's isn't a criticism <doh>.

I said he has far more end product than Traore.

You're a **** for face palming like that

Prick

Reeks of desperation to try and make himself feel better about the ****ters they bought last summer.

Sissoko/ Llorente/ Janssen/ Nkoudou I can understand being mocked.

But Lamela? Only thing he can really be mocked for is being injury prone. Bloke’s generally class when on the pitch.
Lamela is not the player we thought we thought we were getting, but he is a very important part of our team. There are very few players under £60mill that I would swap him for.

Sorry mate. I can see you’re distancing yourself from Maureen now that he’s on the cusp of another meltdown.

But you were fully wedged up his chutney chute when he made that ‘specialist in failure’ **** up.

I'm not denying I used it, at the time, to its full wum potential. That's what I do, Pix.

Son is a good player, but a striker he ain’t.
The only forward positions he will be taking up for the next two years will be towards the North Korean border.

He is not doing himself any favours in the Asian Games here and I suspect Korea will get beaten by Japan in the final, even if they do get past Vietnam.
