Was just pointing out how bitter you Spuds are about Henry Norris, even 100 years later. You've proved my point perfectly
I don't hold it against them, I just like pointing out the hypocrisy of the whiney united fans. As to Tottenham, they are correct, you bought your way into the top league in a very dubious fashion, so you can't really complain about chelsea or Man City, it's just sour grapes, leave that to the red side of Manchester.
No, that's not what you tried to claim. As usual you say one thing, get called on it and then try to claim you said something else. Now you can say rattled again, if you'd like.
the first world war had been long finished when Man Utd were pumped full of cash in the mid 30's, it was about their debt, dwindling crowds, no success etc, not to dssimilar to Chelsea pre-Roman
All clubs have had some investment at some point during their histories though. I just don't think anything has compared to the effect on the league that both Chelsea and City being pumped full of cash did though. It's a bit difficult to draw comparisons though I suppose, as times have changed so much. But Chelsea were worth £1 and on the brink of going bust before Roman turned up and City were just another yo-yo club.
