exactly, i could be like you boys saying we're happy with Bakayoko and Morata whereas you boys are happy that we have them too.

It's how we feel about Lolmela <rofl>

That’s not what I argued though. My argument is that we have no credible back up if Kane were to suffer a bad injury.

Reeks of desperation to try and make himself feel better about the ****ters they bought last summer.

    Sissoko/ Llorente/ Janssen/ Nkoudou I can understand being mocked.

But Lamela? Only thing he can really be mocked for is being injury prone. Bloke’s generally class when on the pitch.

We got two at Anfield last season in about five minutes. Anything's possible. Apart from a penalty at Old Trafford, of course.
We only got one penalty in the rest of our league games, too. I think it's some sort of karma for upsetting so many Scouse.

I've pointed out how I think that’s a flawed statement though.

Last season we hit ten goals in his absence. He missed ten weeks the season before and we still done well, including beating City at the Lane.

You also said that other teams have good backups, to which I said they don’t with the exception of City. Chelsea having 3 good/ average strikers is pretty pointless when combined they won’t score more than what Kane/ Lukaku/ Aguero likely will on their own.

Ronnie won UEFA goal of the season with his overhead kick vs Juve, beating Bale's CL Final effort.

    We’ll agree to disagree.

In my view a club with the aspirations we’re supposed to have cannot rely upon players who are not actually strikers to fill in for one of the world’s top strikers. It also means that Kane hardly ever gets a rest, which has largely contributed to his looking off the pace recently

If we had to rely on anybody from our existing squad, it would be Moura for me.

Similarly, there’s no credible back up for Eriksen.

And other teams do have back ups. Even the Goons have Lacazette.

It's about time Poch unleashed Moura though. He underused him last season. He's a hit and miss player but he's so quick and a deadly dribbler that he causes defences trouble and will make them drop back.

Reminds me of Traore from Wolves but with far more end product

It’s impossible to get a great backup for a world class striker because no striker will ever get sufficient game time to prove if they’re good enough. Llorente’s record outside of Tottenham shows that he’s a good striker but sporadic 5 minute cameos and starts in rotated sides in league cup games won’t allow him to prove much.

Bayern don’t have great backup for Lewa. PSG don’t for Cavani. Barca don’t for Suarez. Utd don’t for Lukaku.

Laca has as many goals as Llorente so far this season.

I feel like you seem to think guys that are nearly as good as Kane or Eriksen would be happy to sit on our bench more weeks than not. It just won’t happen, mate.

We got him in January...he wasn't up to speed..I wouldn't say he was under used. He's settled now and had a full pre season.

He's much more intelligent with his football than Traore who is a speed merchant.

Bobby you just making things up for the **** of it?
