We got him in January...he wasn't up to speed..I wouldn't say he was under used. He's settled now and had a full pre season.

He's much more intelligent with his football than Traore who is a speed merchant.

Bobby you just making things up for the **** of it?

i think me saying he has far more end product says it all mate. He's like traore who can easily beat his man but then gets lost in thought.

Think you got the wrong end of the stick mate

That’s because you can’t big up Barkley ffs <laugh>

tbh, he's at about the same level as lolmela but you managed to big up that argentinian fairy. The biggest compliment i have about him is that he's like an argentinian joey barton. runs a lot and is vicious in his tackling

Moura probably could’ve made a few extra cameos last season but he was so unfit it was mad. In his full debut he was gassing badly against Rochdale after 70 mins, still scored though.

He’d played something like 40 mins for PSG that season before we signed him in late Jan. It was always gonna take time to get used to Poch’s style that’s based so heavily on fitness.

It’s impossible to get a great backup for a world class striker because no striker will ever get sufficient game time to prove if they’re good enough. Llorente’s record outside of Tottenham shows that he’s a good striker but sporadic 5 minute cameos and starts in rotated sides in league cup games won’t allow him to prove much.

Bayern don’t have great backup for Lewa. PSG don’t for Cavani. Barca don’t for Suarez. Utd don’t for Lukaku.

Laca has as many goals as Llorente so far this season.

I feel like you seem to think guys that are nearly as good as Kane or Eriksen would be happy to sit on our bench more weeks than not. It just won’t happen, mate.

Nobody is saying you’re gonna get a like for like replacement for Kane who’s happy to sit on a bench. We have Llorente!!..

Llorente is topping up his pension,he cannot be relied upon to provide adequate back up. He would have gone in the summer but nobody wanted him.

As I posted originally, we could get far better quality back up for both Kane and Eriksen, but you need to pay top money for players of decent quality to sit on a bench waiting their chance. We don’t!

In my view, Kane is getting overused, and that’s because there’s no adequate back up.

to be fair, you were pretty strong in the 2nd half of the season anyway (bar a few wobbly games) so it probably didn't make much difference but i meant he wasn't even used much as a sub if i remember right or as a game changer. When you only need him to change a game in the last 30/20 mins.

So he's not like Traore then

Mate it's a compliment on his dribbling abilities. I would say Traore is probably the most dangerous dribbler in the whole league. It's just everything else (passing, crossing, shooting, knowing what to do with the ball) which is at a level of a 5 year old. Comparing Lucas dribbling to Traore's isn't a criticism <doh>.

I said he has far more end product than Traore.

Youre continuously skipping the points that I’ve made that show other top sides don’t have adequate cover for their world class strikers.

Saying you have to pay top dollar for a backup is easy. Most sides in Europe don’t have this top dollar backup you seem to speak of. Who in their right mind that’s of a good quality, would want to sit on the bench most weeks?

I've said it before about Traore. He's the best **** footballer that I've ever seen.
Brilliant, powerful runs, great on the ball and then... nothing. Tame shots, awful crosses and dire decisions.

Having said that, he looked really good against City when he came on.
Stood up one really good cross and put in a dangerous low ball too, despite them being under it.
Maybe he's finally found a coach that can get the best out of him? Terrifying prospect, if true.

haha that's a great description of him. Definitely, someone like him is totally wasted if he doesn't develop his skills anymore. If someone could coach him to even shoot at Sissokos standard, he'd be lethal.

I’ll look into these ‘other teams’ as you’ve drifted off the PL into Europe now,.

You’re far more likely to get a decent quality back up if they’re compensated well for lack of game time. Nobody decent is gonna sit on a bench for **** money.

Nobody decent will sit on the bench full stop unless you’re paying Man City wages. Good players don’t sit on benches, good players are good because they’re proving themselves in the first XI.

As ive said, Utd don’t have a back up for Lukaku. Chelsea don’t even have a top striker. Arsenal’s are yet to score. Pool have Sturridge but his injury record means he can’t be fully relied upon. Then with regards to Europe, PSG don’t have backup for Cavani, Barca don’t have for Suarez (especially as they’re selling Alcacer to Dortmund), Real don’t have backup for Benzema (and he’s gone down hill in recent years anyway). Juve sold Higuain to accommodate Ronny.

The world’s best strikers don’t have backups because other strikers are smart enough to know they won’t get sufficient game time.

Yeah, Traore is frightening dribbling at pace, it's doing soemthing after that he fails at, if he starts getting that bit right he's going straight into my FF team. We rumoured to be looking at him last season, I was hoping we'd get him, if only for the entertainment value that would lift a crowd. I don;t think there's much better sights in football than a player dribbling at speed and turning players inside out and leaving them on their arse, unless it's happening to West Ham.

Traore reminds me of Bolasie, albeit has plenty of time to improve. Bolasie has skills that even Messi and Ronaldo would be envious of but whilst he can run through a whole side, once he’s through on goal, he’ll knock a back pass to his own keeper because he’s got **** all for a football brain.

Sorry, disagree.

Batshuayi sat on Chelsea’s bench for ages. Why? Money?

Barca have Messi, ffs. What’s he ?

Batshuayi is not very good as an all round forward.

Messi doesn't play that CF role in as much as Son doesn't play there (both can play there)
