Well youre still in the game at 1-0 so not as bad as you say piss sock.![]()

That's about right for Rednapp, City are the British equivilent of Barca and Silva an Iniesta. Would have liked to have done better but the only real chance we had we blew it.Redknapp just described Chelsea’s performance as a ‘crime against football’
For once he’s right, that was supposed to be 2 top sides in a top PL match.
Not really, you suffered the same fate as we did as will Liverpool.not a single attempt on target in 90 mins.... from the defending champions ... fair enough if you are happy with that performance but it was embarrassing to watch. They tore us apart and we played poorly but at least we tried to get in their half.
You played with your strikers on the Bench
Wigan gave them a better game than you did today and that is pretty damning.
hope you're right but can see it being far from simple...we are spurs after all!You lot are playing with a purpose, Chavs are looking lost at sea
They'll wipe the floor with you if you go out toe to toe.hope you're right but can see it being far from simple...we are spurs after all!
It wasn’t the fact that you went there defensive it was the fact that’s you never even tried to press them or regain the ball when you sat in, it was dross mate. That's about right for Rednapp, City are the British equivilent of Barca and Silva an Iniesta. Yeah it wasn't good but there it is. The difference is Pep got all his transfer targets and we didn't, it showed. It wasn’t the fact that you went there defensive it was the fact that’s you never even tried to press them or regain the ball when you sat in, it was dross mate.
**** all to do with transfers, you went there and set up like relegation candidates and never even tried to have a go in that first half, hoofing the ball over a pint sized forwards head. When he had Rylan and £60m Morata on the bench....Yeah it wasn't good but there it is. The difference is Pep got all his transfer targets and we didn't, it showed.

Yes we were awful but still in the game at 1-0.Playing no striker v City is beyond stupid and negative.
Like I said if you are happy with that performance then good for you but lots of your players were ****ed off on the pitch.
There was no pressure on city players, no closing down and at points in the second half your players were walking.
City did not need to play well today.
worst of all was the fact that you had 3 attempts and none on target in a whole match.
That shows the tactics were awful. You had 45 minutes to equalise but did not look like you we ever going to imho.
Not today it wasn’t, it was all about tactics and intent. Its everything to do with transfers.
Tactics for the team he had, sure. Not today it wasn’t, it was all about tactics and intent.
Liverpool beat them doing exactly that...but you do not need to go toe to toe...but you do have to try and get in their box and score. You do have to close them down and you do have to put pressure on the player with the ball. Chelsea did none of this today. They'll wipe the floor with you if you go out toe to toe.
Well not much.Liverpool beat them doing exactly that...but you do not need to go toe to toe...but you do have to try and get in their box and score. You do have to close them down and you do have to put pressure on the player with the ball. Chelsea did none of this today.

Bellerin is genuinely one of the worst RBs I've seen in ages, mate, this isn't me just exaggerating because I'm obviously anti-Arsenal but I really do think he's horrendous. All he has is pace.
Aurier's been a let down since joining but he shows glimpses of a quality player.
Anyway, I'd have Trippier all day long in the XI, at least until Aurier sorts himself out. Tripps is leagues above Bellerin.
Cant agree more but he obviously thought he could get something on the counter. Personally I'd have bought on Morata after half time and gone to 4-4-2.The tactics were determined by his decision to play without a striker...and with no strikers you never looked like scoring. They were brought on way too late in my opinion.
