What i posted. Got some guests round so will read all the **** here later.

Now onto todays game:

Abject, Conte and his pragmatic football. To be fair we restricted their chances and the tactics were working but we have absolutely nothing up top. We play 5 at the back against 1 striker aguero and let City stroke it about. However, as soon as we dropped 1-0 down, what i witnessed was shambolic. We needed to win today and we played for a draw. When we went a goal down i was hoping for some changes but nope, just watch City stroke the ball about and longball it to hazard.

Unbelievable that he didn't make 1 attacking change until the 75th minute and then 2 more in the last 5. All we did was watch city play and we didn't press at all when we were going to lose. At least have a go and change formation and attack. They played a cup final, thursday and today whilst we had a week off.

Unfortunately, Fabregas had an absolute shocker so Stan can rightly pillorise him. I will say Fab was brave but other than that, constantly lost the ball with some awful long passes. Pedro much the same except it was his short passes although i will give him the benefit of the doubt that half the time was because he intercepted the ball himself.

This is why long term, Conte is not the answer if we refuse to impose our will on other teams

nah. Bellerin hasn't been great but I'd have bellerin over both your FBs.

Tripps is good against 90% of the league and has great crossing ability. He's not 1 to dominate a 1 on 1 imo when the player is superior but Spurs are such a dominant team (generally) he isn't exposed. He is your version of Alonso, consistent 8/10 performances but he won't be like a walker to dominate. Aurier on the other hand is like a Walker who can physically impose himself except that he's always got a stupid mistake/tackle in him which if he irons out would make him a world class FB.

Bellerin is quality. He's just playing in a team with no confidence and one that doesn't seem to be being coached properly.

Chelsea looked psychologically battered before they even kicked a ball today, we bullied them and took what little confidence they had left and stamped it into the Old Trafford turf.

Their season is hanging in the balance thanks to us and it feels great <laugh>

They are nailed on to win it anyway, but it would be good to see them win it whilst Pep rubs Maureen's nose in it.

I think they could have done it before but our games have been rearranged due to Fa Cup. We would have had to give them a guard of honour.

That could still happen if we drop enough points.

They were due to play Brighton that weekend weren't they?

We have a fixture with West Ham postponed too.

They need 4 wins to guarantee the title and we play them in their 3rd next league game so they definitely need us to drop points.

Oh sorry I get your point now, I thought you were saying that you were due to play them that weekend <doh>

Not overly likely then.

Put it this way, they'll be praying Liverpool beat us.

If we beat Palace and Swansea, only a defeat to Liverpool would give City the title on that day.

Not that it's not theirs already.

They have Spurs in the 4th game (who similarly will
be needing to get points out of that game) .

Is it Liverpool next week?

Yep.

In fact. City will win the league by beating us, even if we beat Liverpool.

The most points we can get is 87.

They can reduce that to 84 by beating us and that win would put them on 87.

Awesome, I'm off to book a flight.
