... couldn't be more chilled ... this has been a very funny morning ... just writing my Criggy Card to Harrold

"Better Luck Next Year Son ... it's the taking part that counts" <smooch>

it's a shame your players forgot to take part last year for your most successful manager in history. The only thing they took part in was getting Snakespeare the job and he was ****e too <laugh>

Yeah but is that across the whole season? Pogba hasn't played the last few games. Coutinho didn't start the season etc. etc.

Plus why is Erikson/Ozil in there? they're just a decent number 10's. Clearly not on Hazard, Coutinho et al level.

That's a per 90 mins played mate it's the simplest way to measure players against each other. No doubt it'll change as the season goes on.

No doubt Messi was/still is one of the all time greats. But as has been said, he’s done most of it in a sub standard league that is dominated by 2-3 teams, with the rest nowhere. The same applies to Ronaldo.

The EPL is certainly the most competitive league in the world, if not the best in absolute terms. KDB does it pretty much week in week out against all comers.

Yes, he has to prove himself over the longer term. But right now he’s absolutely world class.

sub standard teams except that for the past 5 years or so ALL of the spanish clubs have been smashing it up in europe?

... playing his entire career with the likes of Xavi, Iniesta and co ... he's never really done it with Argentina has he? ... now don't misunderstand, I'm a huge fan and have always preferred him to Ronaldo in that particular debate ... but it would be interesting to see how he would perform over here ... and at the moment KDB is setting the EPL alight ...

He is, this time last year everyone was calling hazard a world beater and the year before mahrez a world beater. No doubting KDBs talent as he was smashing it the year before but to say he's on Messi and Ronaldos level is a bit far fetched.

On form he's probably as good and he will never get the goals and assists that they will get purely because of the position he plays. However, he's only been in world class form for the past 4 months so before we all call him the best player on the earth up there with those 2, i think we need to see how he does it over a period.

I don't rate Edison like everyone else does either...****sake the hype is unbelievable.

Kaspar S looked like his dad re incarnated 2 seasons ago...it's all about the moment.

nah edersens been a key part of this city team. When they bought him for 30m and he'd only played 1 season i thought they'd been mugged off. If he goes through a rocky period he might not get out of it but so far he is looking the business

Anyone would have been an improvement on City's keepers. Just like replacing Zabaletta and Kolorov with Mendy and Walker was an obvious improvement.

I'd be interested to see the statistical difference between Coutinho and KDB for this season, especially keeping in mind KDB has world class players everywhere he looks.

Coutinho has Henderson and Milner.
Exactly mate and you have to feel sorry for the geezer. <ok>

I knew we'd struggle but I still thought we'd have too much for Palace. Fair play to them, sounds like Zaha had a stormer (didn't manage to watch the game myself).

Can't be arsed watching MOTD but I've heard that Iborra scored a goal that was disallowed but "you've seen them given". I saw a clip of Ndidi's dive on reddit. Shame for the lad but goes to show how much we need a video assistant. McCarthur clearly impedes him. We need to see proof that referees are willing to give penalties for fouls that don't result in the player on the floor. I get the feeling that someone "good" at diving (Zaha, Alli, Young et al) would have managed to get the penalty.

Quite pissed off that we lost because I reckon we've blown our great momentum. We now have Man City followed by United. Could quite easily go into the post-Christmas period on the back of 3 defeats with the most hectic schedule in the league.

Typical Leicester though. Palace hadn't scored away all season and we give them 3 goals. <laugh>

It's a shame it was Ndidi and not Vardy who got impeded by Mcarthur...you would have got yourselves a Pen

nah if you look, he's pulling off some good saves and he's great with his feet. Even coming out as a sweeper keeper, from what i've seen he's even better than Lloris at this!

Nah, Ndidi tried it on for me. Not sure he even got touched and it was a proper dive.

As for Iborra, that was a foul and a great decision by the ref as you see strikers and defenders get away with that **** all the time.

Yep, I think you're right. Clear foul by McArthur. Just a shame you need to go down for it to be given.

Ndidi is a defensive midfielder. His natural instinct is to stay up to try and win the ball. Feel for him, but 'good' to get those mistakes out of the way early on in your career. He'll learn.
