Fair enough. I just think refs are too hasty sometimes, where as VAR is allowed to take forever to make a decision.

Essentially he bottled taking any responsibility for the decision as he can just use VAR.

Or just making sure he got it right ... which was the whole intent of VAR in the first place ... so we are now here commenting on a correct decision ....
