slight difference as hands in the air has been handball for ages just like the starfish impersonation defenders used to do to block crosses but now you just need an arm attached to a body to get pinged .

It’s ridiculous. A ball deflecting at speed and just glancing off an arm simply isn’t trying to use the arm to gain an advantage, which is what handball has always been.

Yup had to be red. I will give the ref credit for not reaching for it straight away, taking time to make the decision.
