To my mind offside is offside when the player offside touches the ball...the phases of play causes chaos and weird arse decisions imo.

nope, its when a player affects play. Thats why if an offside players goes to close down the ball even though they don't touch it (and may force a rushed clearance) he then gets flagged offside mate

I have already said to Tobes that I did not see a replay as was at the match and could well be wrong.
However, the offside rule needs simplifying as it is ****e...but considering the 2 offside goals the gooners got at their place last season I couldn't give a **** about whether it was offside or not tbh ... kind of hope it was so they bitches feel robbed...being robbed and paying the unspellable one £250,000 per week to bottle a lat min penalty in a NLD mskes it a bad dsy for them ... and yes I am that petty<laugh>

As far as I understand this, mate - and that’s not a lot, it depends on Taylor and/or his lino’s Interpretation of whether Kane was fouled before he attempted to play the ball, or not.

Clearly it’s subjective opinion, but Taylor obviously decided he was fouled before any attempt was made to play the ball.

You just know the Spuds are going to get ****ed over with a similar offside decision before the season is out and will scream blue murder about it.

And I will be here laughing about it :)

It deffo was offside. Must be nice to snatch a draw though!

I was just shocked you were taking the view the offside rules were too difficult to interpret cause kane didnt touch the ball. <laugh>

Would have preferred you to rub it in instead

Rose should’ve been given a medal though. Their spacker keeper was timewasting like a prick.
