Michael Jackson is the surprise interim appointment at Burnleh

Make your own jokes
Well as long as he can do a job, relegation is done, its too late to Beat it, but I am sure the last few games will be a Thriller.
He's got to be starting something in that dressing room, to get them fired up, cos right now they are pretty Bad.
Its all about saving face now, as long as they dont stop till they get enough points to go out with a bang.
Ok im done now

He’ll be looking at the younger players I’m sure

Always been a bit strange that. A south London boy supporting a north London team?

I used to play in the garden of a friend's house in Plumstead that had the original terracing from the Invicta ground. That's where it all started for me.

Sounds about right, the Championship is clearly his level.
I hate to say it, but the same will probably happen to Frank at Coventry.
Sacked by Christmas when Coventry are in the relegation zone, then will take a job at somewhere like Norwich, or West Brom in the Championship.
Not sure of the hatred towards Parker tbh. Always came across as a honest pro, not as good as we Charlton fans thought, but good enough to be a PL player.

Isn't this how things used to work? Cut your teeth in the lower leagues before progressing to a promoted position?

This idea that these blokes should just magically be able to cope with the premier league is ridiculous.

Loads of ex players over promoted way too soon; Gerrard, Solskjaer, Lampard, Parker classic examples.

Carrick too when it all shakes down, probably. (sadly)
