Cheers ... but the point stands ... that QPR side were great to watch ...

Been others down the years - Villa under Ron Saunders, Ipswich under Bobby Robson, United under Docherty, Forest under Clough, the Liverpool 'Boot room' ...

For me and 99.999995% of Leicester City old codger fans, we'll harp back to Jimmy Bloomfield's 'Entertainers' of the early / mid 1970s - most they achieved was an FA Cup Semi-Final but we were right royally entertained ... and even managed to get 4 players in the England team at one point ... Shilton, Worthington, Weller and Whitworth ... (poetic licence - Shilton had transferred to Stoke - allegedly partly because Frankie had been snagging his missus - along with everyone else's <laugh>) ...

You'll be dreaming of punts up the middle for Vardy till you're 90 imo.

If, during the title winning season, you didn't love that volley against Liverpool or the goal against United that took the consecutive games scoring record off van Nistlerooj (what a pass from Christian Fuchs) ... then, you are no lover of football ... <cheers>

Don’t we all mock Spurs, a club synonymous with good football, for not winning anything? Never more so than for the season you beat them soaking up pressure and knocking it long for Vardy. You constantly bring up what you’ve won, often when not related to the conversation whatsoever, because that’s the stuff football fans care about.

It might be a long time since you walked out of a football stadium but you’d take nicking a 1-0 win over losing 4-3 when you did because sport is and always has been ultimately about winning. Playing well is a nice to have.

There are countless examples of teams winning ugly. Chelsea, Greece, Lesta. Their fans were all infinitely happier than the opposition.

I agree but you guys should have been practicing what you preach with Klopp and some of the play that LFC have produced - but there does seem to be an underlying current against him

It was a great performance won against the run of play and there’s nothing wrong with that but it’s silly to pretend it wasn’t. The league was won with loads of clean sheets and grinding out tight wins and there’s nothing wrong with that either apart from it making a mockery of your argument.

In your head perhaps ... and there it stays ... we scored plenty of goals and completely outplayed just about everyone over the 'two legs' of that season, with the exception of Arsenal - now I watched every second of every one of our games that season ... did you? ...

Course you didn't - so realistically you are just spouting your usual drivel with scarce foundation but layered with the usual huge dose of over inflated, pompous, self-imprtance ... <laugh>

Obviously not but you’re a bit senile and remembering it in the way football fans do with their team. City had 2/3 of the ball and were ahead on just about every metric. To win you had to defend brilliantly and, as said, there’s nothing wrong with that. It’s how you have to win sometimes. Robert Huth was man of the match.

Over the course of the season loads of clean sheets and winning in the way England are now. Again nothing wrong with it as you did what was needed.

In fairness the "we scored loads of goals" metric is a tough one to justify for the season Leicester won given that it's not correct for a title winning team.
The average number of goals in the 5 seasons prior to them winning it was 86 and the average for the 5 seasons after they won it was 91 goals. They scored 68, the lowest of the 11 years (and possibly way beyond that).

Does it matter? Not really as they won and that's all that actually matters in the end.
Does it kind of undermine Fosse in this argument? Fosse will so no and Bwood will say yes. I'll just stoke the flames and go off to making my food :)
