Is for me - you seem to think your opinions really matter and are definitive - they really aren't ... just rather copious and mostly overly self congratulatory...

I'm happy to stick to valuing entertaining exceptional brilliance over mundane mediocre success every time ... but each to their own <laugh>

Out of interest would you have preferred Ranieri to play a more attractive style and you finish 3rd in 2016?

Are you seriously lecturing anyone on feeling self-important?

Yes I’d rather win a dour match on penalties than lose a brilliant game 4-3. You just have to be contrary on everything.

I wouldn't dream of lecturing anyone... not so sure about you ...

... but I do find it ironic that you support a club who's best remembered team in living memory won **** all - yet genuine football fans loved to watch them .. even as neutrals - Marsh, Bowles, Gerry Francis and Co were genuine entertainers ...

All the best revelling in the mundane - must be a specialism of yours <laugh>

Yes and if I were around at the time I and 99.9% of QPR fans would have preferred to have won the league over being entertaining for neutrals and finishing second. There’s nothing mundane about winning.

As I said - each to their own ... and of course you speak for 99.9% of QPR fans ... probably whilst on the lecture circuit <laugh>

Mental gymnastics are inevitable in football so I agree, but do you think England will win and if not would you like to see Southgate leave?

Do I think England will win? I have no expectation, I would like to win it, although if we do go out, I'd rather of gone out to the Turks - I think we would have struggled with their balls into the box. Netherlands gives me no feeling of excitement like they use to, might as well just go and watch Liverpool on an off day. Hopefully Spain do France, only because they are the only entertaining club remaining out the four. I don't think Netherlands deserve to be there anymore than us....so be nice to have an England v Spain final and take our chances. I got this feeling that as soon as Southgate tries to do anything fancy we will go out, like we always do, but the players have a bit of team spirit in them, sometimes that's all you need to take you over that final line, like last night, five penalties out of five and a keeper save, we maxed out for a change.

Edit: I missed out the last question, I don't care whether he stays or goes, that's up to him...or the powers that be.

You completely avoided Libby’s question because you obviously agree but have to be contrary.

Oh look ypu being rather arrogant with your assumptions... yet again <laugh>

I'd have thought that even you should have gleaned from my response to Libby that I was more than happy with the attractiveness of our football - completely outplaying Citeh, Liverpool and Chelsea (the reigning champions) on our way to the title was a joy to behold...

Marsh had left and Don Given was the CF

Yesterday wasn’t. I doubt Germans are happier with their entertaining loss than sane English people are with grinding out a pretty undeserved win.

I don't think it was undeserved, and I don't think it was a boring game. Frustrating, yes, boring no. And I long since stopped expecting us to sweep aside "lesser" opposition; which in any case Switzerland proved they weren't, against Italy and Germany (don't mention Scotland).

Even better then. Entertaining football and a win.
