NOT according to the article Dave - "Initially, Waddock promised to make a decision on the Shots' trialists after the Chelsea U23s game but the deadline has slowly been moved backwards. And the Aldershot manager admits that while he had hoped to make the call earlier, he wants to ensure the club get the best possible players for their money."
I've been very impressed with him in the under 23s and I was really hoping he'd be around to play against Swindon next Tuesday

"Husband was outnumbered on more than one occasion on the left though, as he was for the goal, and the wide areas have been where Farke’s new systems have looked vulnerable at times. The 23-year-old needs game-time though and has improved with every game of pre-season.
Reed is already looking a class act although doesn’t have quite the same physical bite of Alex Tettey but Vrancic, who nearly scored with a 35-year chip, is my early tip to make the top three in the player of the season voting come May."

It is a loan if it happens. The article was badly written and thus misleading. The indication lies at the end:

"If the move does come to fruition, it will be the young defender’s second move away from Carrow Road in three months, having spent a short loan period at Icelandic side Breidablik in May, scoring one goal. Despite having yet to progress to the Norwich senior team, a move away could suggest potential further reinforcements at the back are still being pursued, with the injury of Timm Klose leaving Daniel Farke with minimal defensive depth."

Other than Zimmerman getting the #6 ahead of Franke, hard to say there's anything too surprising there! Most shirts have been filled by a similar player.

Husband was outnumbered a couple of times but I felt that was more to do with team shape than anything he had done wrong. It was a little strange, it appeared that he was playing wing back but was offered very little protection, whereas on the other side Wildshut was afforded a lot of protection as Martin almost played as a right back behind him rather than part of 3CB's, that's what I saw anyway

Yes, you are right.

As a result Wilschult looked really good as he had that freedom to attack and run at the defenders. It's quite rare to have that attacking edge and still maintain control of midfield. I thought we dominated Brighton pretty much from start to finish and on another day it could of been at least 3-1.

How fast was Wildshult BTW?

I was giving him absolute pelters last season but if he can do what he did on Saturday on a regular basis then we are fortunate to have him.

His crosses into the box were excellent as were his cut backs from the byline. Strikers just needed to time their runs a little better.

Me either KIO, what's the point? I want to watch the best football, as a Norwich fan I'm damned a bit on that score, but still a world XI ladies team would likely struggle to compete with a mid table lge2 side.
They were again debating the disparity in pay for the ladies but it's stupid. I think I should get paid £200000 a week for my job but as sky don't want chuck money at plaster board R&D and it has minimal viewer demand I'll have to settle for the industry market rate, just like them. Is it sexist from the footballing world? I don't think so. Is it ageist that senior tour pros get less money than Mcllroy or Speith? No, simple best get paid best because people want to watch them. To anyone proclaiming we must give the ladies teams our support, when did you last go and support them? Put money in the coffers?

So if Norwich ever get a womens' team that can compete and challenge the likes of Doncaster Belles, Arsenal, etc would there not be the same sort of level of support as say the male under 23's, under 18's etc?
They're all playing for Norwich City :emoticon-0112-wonde

Possibly, but who knows, one of the reasons people go to see the u23 or 18's to see the future stars and cause it cost nothing or next to nothing to watch. Couple that with the fact that I would have my money on our u23's vs the belles or Arsenal and I still wouldn't bother with the ladies. Maybe one day if they reduce pitch sizes and maybe goals to speed things up a bit it might become worth a watch. It ain't now for me. For you and others it might be? But I reckon I'm still in the majority ammoungst the general football watching public.
