And so say all of us.My hope is that Naismith and Wildschut will thrive under DF.
Alex Neil must have seen something having signed them for a combined £16m - let's hope the rest of us do from next Saturday onwards

)
Just did a random quiz in aid of air ambulance in my local.
Bizarre questions like who will be the 1st PL manager to get sacked / walk away?
Will Sheff Utd finish top 6?
Who will finish bottom of PL?
Who will win FA cup / league cup.
Who will win league 1 (I put Portsmouth, but don't ask me why)
Apparently last year's winner(s) only got 12 out of 21 correct and still collected £150![]()

Brighton are ready to break their transfer record again with an £8m move for Leicester forward Tom Lawrence, 23.
Liverpool are ready to make a final attempt to sign RB Leipzig's Guinea midfielder Naby Keita, with a bid in excess of £70m likely for the 22-year-old

Someone was saying the other day that Citeh got about £170M for finishing 2nd in the PL!!!Poles apart or what??
You'd never guess both clubs were in the same country / division
I'm starting to side with our departed (?) laureate on this, what the hell's the point busting a gut to get promoted when 16 / 17 of the clubs you'll be facing can wave cheques for £30/40/50/60/70 million around and you know you can't (like us, Brighton, Huddersfield etc)? It can only end badly![]()

Let's hope so. But the divide between the 'haves' and the 'have nots' widens every season, and that is of ongoing concern - I can see the PL becoming a 12 or 14 club hierarchy in the not too distant future, with no relegation or promotion - a closed shop based on ££ solely.We are a good manager and joined up transfer policy away from another crack at getting to and establishing ourselves in the PL. Do we have them? Not sure, but I am cautiously optimistic that we do!

He bought Klose in that window JMF, but I agree the Naismith purchase was not needed, that money could have been spent more productively.
Losing Olsson and Brady, and playing Whitaker and Martin alternately at LB because your only semi-orthodox LB is on a season long loan at Scunthorpe was not the sharpest manoeuvre the club have ever madeLike another CB to play alongside Klose instead of Martin.
