Lets hope he doesn't take that attitude or performance into the Championship season.

So it seems you still don't understand. His attitude is spot on, something we've been looking for for a very long time. As for performance, that is something he is working on with the help of these pre-season matches, if you can't see that then I fear for your football enjoyment!

So you'd rather see us beat teams like Lowestoft and Stevenage 10 - 0 in valuable pre-seaon games - and do all the experimenting with personnel, tactics and run the rule over young players when we play Fulham, etc, then.
There were NO POINTS at stake for a win, loss or god forbid, even a draw against mighty Stevenage. Surely those are the types of games to trial new things / personnel??

Perhaps we could all do well to follow DF's response, rather than lambast any of the young players when they make a mistake - "Farke revealed the highly-rated teenager had to be consoled in the away dressing room after his square pass was punished for Stevenage’s opening goal, before later handling a deep cross that led to an equalising penalty."

Having seen him play, he is one of my hopes for being a regular in the match day squad.

One of the purposes of pre-season, make mistakes NOW and learn from them rather than during a competitive match!

If Godfrey has learned a lesson, job done! <ok>

Sunderland pushing hard for James Vaughan is a strange one. 3 bids rejected so far, expected to bid a 4th time. I always really liked him as a striker. It was just the injuries and lack of chances at the start of his Career here. If his injuries are sorted, might be a decent option in the Championship.

Jebus! The players AC Milan are signing!!!

They are going to be a BIG force now with these players and the new owners.

Bonucci just signed for 40M - One of the worlds best defenders, if not the best.

Andre Silva - Future world class striker.

Calhanoglu - Amazing attacking Midfielder and set-piece taker.

Ricardo Rodriguez - Class LWB, Excellent crosser and set-piece taker

Mateo Musacchio - Very good and solid CB

Frank Kessie - A DCM very much in the style of Kante.

Very interesting to see how they gel! Should be a force in the League and Europe this season.
