The point being Supers predicted Hooper to be top scorer in the Championship ,in reality an overweight lazy Hooper struggled to convince the management that he was up for the challenge and he wanted a move.

Sheffield Wednesday haven't seen much from him and he even had the audacity to Tweet "What a shame" when Norwich were relegated.

Fair enough but I think I'd look elsewhere if blinkered management weren't playing me too. Hooper was showing genuine class when he was given a chance but could not get a run of games, (Although just remembered Mmmbok was also an option at the time) Happens all the time. Nelson showed his feelings about not being picked just recently and if it wasn't managed properly I'm sure he'd be looking for a move too. At the time he arrived, I'd have fully expected Hooper to be our top scorer and right up the league rankings too. I would have been wrong too but I think there was more to it than his ability.

He didn't finish top scorer in the League with Norwich or with Sheffield Wednesday.

Of course I don't believe he was right about that... obviously! In fact I've just said "I thought at the time he would be our top scorer, but would have been wrong", like Pyjamas.

I don't want to speak about him anymore Supers was a good poster, a humourless condescending poster but he was still entertainment.
If reports are correct and he is clashing with Norwich fans on Twitter? then perhaps not much has changed .

    Good one.

Ever since I went to the Birmingham game at the start of the unbeaten run I have praised the coach players and determination even in the 0-0 results.
I get attacked for supporting England and their successful unbeaten 8 year qualifying run.

I get attacked for my criticism of terrible over priced Scottish players stinking up the squad.

I am a positive poster and believe promotion is attainable.
I may not have the same views as most on here but they are my own and i will argue my corner.

Just seen this from the Dail Fail - "Manchester United's Juan Mata has been working with the Oscar Foundation and recently visited a slum in Mumbai where he met with over 100 children
He has pledged to donate 1% of his wages to help underprivileged kids
The initiative, however, hasn't been widely supported by other players!!!"

    WHY am I not surprised?????

As I recall, he was utilised as a lone striker, because that's how Hughton and Neil played.
    Always. Every single match.
But put him alongside a strike partner (easily accommodated, just play with one DM instead of two, for example) and BLAM!!

I remember on a couple of occasions, both GH and CJ played for part of a game and they were devastating.

So, league football returns tonight after what seems like a month's lay off.
And it's Cardiff, top of the tree, versus Birmingham, currently in the mire at 22nd in the table.
Also high flying Brizzle City face Burton.
How nice it would be, from a canary viewpoint, to see wins for both Brum and Burton <ok>

It's a shame to have lost; Supers, Carrabuh, Munky and so many more. I didn't agree with them all at all times but all good posters. On the flip side at least we got rid of that dreadful chap SN23! :bandit:

    Bah!
