Malky to be interim boss for at least the next round of games then. Will he do well enough to keep it? Will he want it? Bah!
So, strange results in last night's Championship games - Brum beat the leaders Cardiff and the latter didn't manage a shot on target. Bristol City are thwarted by Burton, who have now achieved their 3rd consecutive goalless away draw!!!
Good results for us, JMF! I forgot to check last night. Really surprised about Cardiff, especially as Brum were beaten 6-1 by Hull last time out. I'm not convinced that Bristol City are likely to finish in the top six. Well done Burton though.
Yes, Cloughy seems too have the Brewers well drilled away from home and I guess they're being more expand at home and paying the price. Mind you, we still have to go to the Pirelli!!!
Wow! An Indonesian goal keeper has died during a top league match after colliding with a team mate. Sorry I can't copy and paste as I'm on my tablet
Well, if there's any asset stripping or fire sales in the pipeline, we'll have Jacob back...for £3.5m... tops
I notice Cork City have a home game with Derry City tonight. Despite Ophelia's best intentions otherwise please log in to view this image
Staying with things Irish, I have just seem that the young striker, Adam Idah, we recruited from Ireland in the summer, has been on fire in an U17 competition. In three matches he scored 7 (seven) goals, and has now scored 17 goals in his last 13 matches.
Some intriguing play off games in prospect to decide WC qualification. Northern Ireland v Switzerland Denmark v Republic of Ireland Croatia v Greece Sweden v Italy The first legs will be played between 9 and 11 November with the second legs between 12 and 14 November.
"Where there's a 'Will' there's NOT a way" - Leicester City sack manager four months after appointment!!! <getscoatemoticon>
Great article - (RBF - best you don't read it!!!!) http://www.eveningnews24.co.uk/spor...el-like-2011-again-for-norwich-city-1-5239354
Evening guys Long time since I've looked on here, lots of familiar names still. Who's going Sunday then? I've been really lucky and blagged a couple of tickets & really looking forward to my first away derby for several years, and I've got a really good feeling predicting a 2-0 win with Nelson getting a brace. Hope everyone is in fine fettle OTBC
Hmm, Carlisle is one thing but I wonder if they've grown a big enough pair to apply the same ruling to a Chelsea or Liverpoo player when the (inevitable) time comes? http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/41680847
