They have rich investors don't they? They wouldn't spend money they didn't have hoping they would make a load in the future.

Great, I hoped he'd move to there and I'm sure with the right coaching, he'll adapt to that role.
Edit - I've got my ticket in the Jarrold for the friendly V Brighton!!! 3 weeks Saturday.

He will be needed this season if Thompson's injury setback is half as bad as expected, set to be on the sidelines all season again! Poor bloke, he's been class when I've seen him play, thought this would be his season to make the DM position his own.

I've a feeling it's going to be a REALLY competitive league this year and I think it will be very difficult for any team to run away with it. Injuries (or lack of them) could play a huge part.

If I was a Villa fan I would be totally pissed off if we were paying Terry £100,000 a week. He's going to be useless against speedy strikers.

I'd be quite surprised if we don't see this happening in some games, so that DF can play both AP and JM at the same time!!!

Early to say this I know, but I think we'll have a team that could seriously exploit Terry this season. The pace and physicality of Jerome will force Villa to play a deep back line, opening up space for Wes, Pritchard or Maddison to wreak havoc.

To be honest I can see a lot of teams running rings around Terry, but with the players you mentioned I agree we should be able to exploit it hopefully.
