Or conversely, if you DO vote, you accept responsibility for all the cock ups done in your name. :emoticon-0105-wink:

I can't believe anyway still thinks the colour of a rosette changes much. It's just different middle managers in the same company.

If you doubt that, look at that doddering old fart supposedly running America. <laugh>
Not quite, but you should certainly accept what is done that was in their manifesto.
I do agree though that there’s not much between them.
What we really need is a change from first past the post to proportional representation IMHO

I know who I want in power but only one winner I am afraid *edit, maybe if the poll is changed to who you are voting for rather than who will win it may be a bit more interesting to see the split?

I guarantee it will me more tomorrow..

When Boris won the Labour voters said there wasn’t a mandate as he only got 43% of the vote and a lot of people didn’t vote This time more won’t vote and Starmer will get a lower percentage of the fewer who do vote. But those same people will declare Labour has an overwhelming mandate.

Always vote and will always vote, even if times tactically - someone died somewhere for my freedom to vote.

However there should be the option to vote NOTA (none of the above) - otherwise someone / trying to earn a few extra bob, has to count numerous / hilarious 'nob' drawings etc.

I'd also welcome online / electronic voting - we trust our banking which for most people is more important

Voting for 16+ getting older does not equal wiser

Finally proportional representation despite the 'fear' promoted by some.

(I'd also get rid of the House of 'Lords' and replace with something more representative...)

We'll never get what we / everyone wants, but compared to the totalitarian / fundamental regimes in other countries, not perfect but not USA...

If people think it's bad under the Tories (and it is) it's absolutely nothing compared to what's coming with labour
Starmer, Reeves, Phillipson and Cooper just about make them credible but Streeting, Lammy, Ashworth, Rayner, Dodds and Thornberry are going to be very irritating and piss me right off very quickly.

You will never get PR when a party can get less than 40% of the vote and a massive majority as will happen. When Farage was in charge of UKIP they got 4 million votes and 1 seat and the Greens 2 million votes and 1 seat. A total of 6 million votes for 2 seats. Labour got 6 million votes and 200 seats, the SNP 1 million votes and 50 seats. The Tories got the most seats. Does anyone expect the main parties to alter a system so skewed in their favour?

It is in the Labour manifesto, and I kid you not, that it wants to make this the best country in the world to watch football.

True. The main parties will support altering it when the British public finally majority vote for a new party that isn´t the main two.
