Chazz, you been swayed towards the light yet?
My thoughts are leon
I dislike politicians thoroughly. Of any hue
Maybe the odd one from various sides
I used to get so worked up about injustice and had to stop watching question. Time etc as I was getting that angry. now I’m a bit like that **** kempton I just ignore it all
Bit of a west stand tutter
As it does no good for blood pressure

I want to like Corbyn but can’t, I like the fact he’s old school who never changed
Unfortunately he has in the one major issue
He’s always wanted out of Europe
While bodger Alexander, I’m like Hitchens I won’t call him Boris,
As always been pro Europe
This election will only confirm my conviction they, all of them, don’t want to or don’t know how to do what the country democratically voted for.
Tbh it sickens me. if I vote it will probably be for the brexit party for all the good it will do

We worked for a Leeds construction firm in 2001 .
At the end of the contract they didn't pay us our last week's wages which was over £500 each .
We where also supposed to get the holiday entitlement for the 2 months we work for them .
We went to the tribunal at a meeting room in Leeds .
We met the union rep from Leeds who represented us as our one from Hull couldn't make it !
All we ended up getting was part of our weeks wages !
BTW ! This did happen .
If you'd worked in the construction trade at this time you would know about it !
Holiday entitlement for two months work in the construction industry!! it’s not a tribunal now but small claims court! Hmmmmm
<laugh> You’re full of **** like usual

I didn’t say it will. I said it was what I voted for. It’s just my opinion that we are better out of this massively expanded European state.
Based on what thought? I don't mean to be deliberately argumentative so apologies, I find I can't help myself on this subject.... But when virtually every leading economist is saying it'll leave us worse off, when all major bodies of the NHS and school system are saying it'll leave us worse off I struggle to understand a single tangible benefit of brexit, faith that we'll be OK doesn't hold water as a benefit for me

I had to stop watching QT ages ago - no good for the mental health and the level of debate is shocking. You learn nothing from it.

One of the problems we are facing is that the Conservative WDA offers no protections for workers. Workers' rights should be progressive, not regressive and in a de-regulated 'Singapore On Thames' - we could easily end up like the average American worker in no time. What do they average, something like 12 holiday days per year?

I cannot offer you concrete proof of the above, just the way I see it from what I have read and heard.

But what I can guarantee that a Labour government will improve these rights. Plus we'll get more Bank Holidays for one.

It's hard to understand when you know Corbyn was anti EU, claims to neutral, but has kept us in. And on the other side is Johnson who always was pro EU but now doing nothing but trying to get us out.

Confused? you will be after the next party political broadcast.

Hate to say it but a lot will be put off Corbyn in the same way they were Michael foot, and he was a thoroughly decent intelligent man, belittled because of his appearance and delivery.

Absolutely. It is terrible but true.

The media are largely to blame for this though - attack after attack.

Speaking of Hitchens earlier:

Corbyn was / is anti EU.....this has been known for years.

He thinks they will prevent Britain being radically transformed in the way he would like. Too centrist. for his tastes.

Hitchens and Peter Oborne are the only two mainstream right-wing journalist I respect.

Indeed. I disagree with them about lots of things, but they present evidenced based arguments and most importantly have ethics and integrity.
