And you're whining about Corbyns tenuous 'links' to terrorism whilst ignoring that May has asked the terrorists who started the troubles to help her make a government and has also helped fund Al Queda and ISIS

I didn't really follow the election campaign apart from on the BBC and Facebook. As you might expect most of my Facebook newsfeed was from people who agree with me. I saw pictures of Corbyn before huge crowds across the country and posts explaining why friends and friends of friends were voting Labour. Most of them referred to policies. Some complained about the lack of media coverage and I even got some from Tory central office.

I watched the BBC 6 O'clock news for my "unbiased" news coverage. That seemed to consist of Labour voters saying they would vote Tory and the odd ethnic minority saying they would vote Labour. They didn't mention the thousands turning out to hear him speak until late in the election campaign when they had to admit the Labour vote was firming up.

I read the BBC website daily and some of the comments, when they allowed them.

Most of the Tory (?) posts were about Labour's lunatic policies and Corbyn being a supporter of terrorism. I didn't really read the posts from labour supporters. The ones I did referred to May's support for Saudi Arabia, said it was ancient history or defended various individual Labour policies. The coverage by reporters was similar to the news. Corbyn is losing Labour votes. the Manifesto was unrealistic and the Tories would win.

After Blair, Cameron and May Corbyn came across as a modest man that talked about "we" more than "I". He looks like someone you'd walk by on the street and fail to notice. In fact he looks fairly ordinary. I don't underestimate how well that came across to voters sick to the back teeth of slick politicians. I don't underestimate either the extent that Corbyn played up to that image. Although there will be a big dollop of his real personality in that.

I didn't read the Labour election leaflet but did read the Tory one. I wouldn't be surprised if the Tories mentioned Corbyn more than Labour given my local MP thought that Corbyn was an electoral liability.

The discussion on here concentrated on two things. Labour's policies and the Tory propaganda that he wasn't fit to be Prime Minister. Most of the pro-Labour posts concerning Corbyn defended him against his alleged support for terrorism, his membership of CND, etc. I didn't see many people saying he was wonderful without that initial post attacking him.

I would say Corbyn reminded me a little of Thatcher, at least until she dropped her voice. It was about where Britain should be going, rather than vote for me I'm wonderful. Or vote fro me I'm strong and stable, or whatever sound bite you want to choose.

You may disagree but this is my view of Labour's election campaign.

I haven't ignored anything, I dislike both of them. I thought I would add in some balance before corbyn has a statue erected in every town. He's become saintly and it's daft.

I don't think people mind too much about self-made people, it's the 'made in Chelsea' types and Boris "I'm a thick, lying, but well connected and rich ****" Johnson, who hide their money in trust funds protected from taxation by the laws their families made. That's what sticks in people craw.

why should people who made their money by betraying their people thousand years ago still own the land in London? why should the descendants of heroin smugglers and slave traders evade tax?

Gotcha, those with ancestors we don't like get shafted. Those with ancestors we do like get a piece of the pie. I can't trace my ancestors back that far, do I get put in some sort of internment camp with a badge?

This has been done to death! I'm off longhill and you can't get rougher then me! BUT Ive made my way in life by grafting! So I'll ask the same question why should lazy bastards get hand outs or be paid £10 an hour for standing on a till or throwing a McDonald's at ya? Disabilities come in all shapes physical and mental and they should be looked after! But don't tell all the lazy twats on the dole are been done out of work because of disabilities? Loads of them are lazy ****s who do t want to work! FACT.

The one thing he didn't say and could have is Britain First, I am going to make Britain great again, Britain First.

But as that other bloke is finding out being in power is much harder than you think, and you can't really do what you want.

Boris may not be everyone's cup of tea, or even most peoples cup of tea, but he certainly isn't thick.
