A lot of the miners got on with northern police officers, the main issue was the London coppers who the miners despised.

She lost nearly 40% of their seats, they gave her a bloody nose, it can't possibly be seen as an endorsement of their desire for a second referendum.

The SNP can see that, even if you can't.

They still won the election. A majority of Scottish MPs in favour of a second referendum were elected yesterday. The voters had a clear choice and they supported MPs in favour of independence.

They had more Scottish MPs when they had a referendum on the subject of Independence.

It didn't help them then either.

Bullshit

The independence lost once, and it will certafuckinglutely lose even worse again

On rule for one and one for another.

Didn't he use that very same logic to suggest the tories had lost?

I did. The SNP lost badly in one sense but still won a majority of seats. The Tories had a bad night as well, but didn't win a majority of seats. The government is now dependent upon the DUP and its own backbenchers to get its legislation through. I wouldn't call that a victory even though Theresa May remains Prime Minister for now.

And how laughable is it that tories using northern irish unionists to stay in ****ing power

Sickening and should make people hate them even more

Interesting that Nicky Morgan just said that the Conservatives lost seats because they made it about one leader, a figurehead, rather than the local MPs who people actually vote for in their constituency... <whistle>

Surely any party worth its salt would kick anyone's arse out into the cold if they voted against their leader?
