Perhaps we should be grateful for Mr Corbyn's presence without which Labour would probably have gained an overall majority.

Scotland is their nation and they won the election so they'll toe their own line. Whilst they are dented it'll make little difference to their demand for another referendum. It may well strengthen it as they have seen the size of the unionist vote.
silly bugger.Perhaps we should be grateful for Mr Corbyn's presence without which Labour would probably have gained an overall majority.
Pressed on a second independence referendum, the First Minister said: “I’m not going to take any rash decisions. Clearly I have to reflect on the result of the election and I will take time to do that.
“But it would be the wrong thing for me to do at this hour, to take decisions before having had the opportunity to properly think about it but properly think about it I will certainly do."
I think they'll drop it, the electorate of Scotland have clearly shown they don't want one.
The electorate of Scotland gave the SNP a majority of seats. I'd say the election results show the electorate of Scotland want a second referendum as that's what the election was fought on.
they were the biggest losers of the night, they even lost their deputy leader, the majority do not want independence, every single pro-independence voter voted in the referendum, the missing voters were all pro GB, same with Brexit, every pro- Brexit voter voted, the missing voters were all remain. The electorate of Scotland gave the SNP a majority of seats. A lot of coppers have got long memories about the miners strike! I'll leave that one with ya!Every now and then I remember how impressive it was to mess this up this badly.
Hope Labour press this home.
Stand up for the underpaid, public services, healthcare, police, schools, the environment and social justice.
For the many.

Some lucky greengrocer has earned a few quid selling all these sour grapes? Most successful night for labour in a long while with a million young new voters and they still couldn't do it? Someone might have to explain to them it's not like CALL OF DUTY when if you're losing you can switch the game off and have another go like they wanted with brexit!
She lost nearly 40% of their seats, they gave her a bloody nose, it can't possibly be seen as an endorsement of their desire for a second referendum.
The SNP can see that, even if you can't.
