Maybe you know better, I don't really understand it having never really researched it but I have heard Jeremy Hunt talking about it, he said it's a lot better and what he said about it sounds a lot better.

I know US citizens usually bang on about how much better the quality of their health care is compared to ours. You get what you pay for I suppose.

Nhs started when the population was 50m now its over 65m

That is massive extra strain etc

Yeah I'd much prefer a woman who can't public speak without an autocue it appears, together with donkeys like Boris, Davis and that slimeball Gove.
I agree with you!theyre all ****s! You'd have to be a **** to want to be a politician! BUT they're the better bet then a corbyn led government who will leads to the next depression! Their spending plans don't add up! They will literally just print money to give away!

You can't just ignore blairs tenure FFS??? How did the song go? "Things can only get better" well it did for Blair didn't it? How much is he worth now? <laugh> I've just read that he owns 10 homes! Red my arse!

That's exactly what PLT wrote. Blair was a Tory in Labour clothing.

Please don't mention that mans name thats starts with b and ends in r

I utterly despise the ****

Aye but I was never in any doubt that he'd do anything but rather well.

The Blair bunch will never support him fully. They will forfeit their principles to survive though.

I think most the country doesn't want to go as far left as Corbyn or as far right as the Tories. Somewhere in between would have won it by a landslide IMO. Both parties dropped the ball a bit.

Very funny as in August 2016 the Tories printed £70 billion to give to the banks.

I haven't heard much about the Northern Powerhouse in this election, whats happening with it?

Post brexit & post City of Culture who's maintaining our funding?

Corbyn really isn't that far left when compared to other Governments like Canada & Norway.

Canada have actually one of the better (if not the best) performing current economies. They also have similar anti-austerity policies to what JC & the Labour Party are promoting.

Our current economy is failing in comparison.

If I understand Charon correctly you can do precisely that. Nationalise the profitable industries like gas and electric, means test any compensation paid, employ more British workers than are "needed", pay them a decent wage and use the profits to help fund the NHS. The wealthy will be worse off whilst the workers will be better off. Problem solved.

That's very simplistic way of looking at it, you seem to have ignored the fact that you need to find £150b to re-nationalise these industries and then the revenue instantly falls as Corbyn's promised to knock £220 a year off everybody's bills.

This is ignoring the fact that when it becomes a monopoly again, it will become inefficient, badly managed and underfunded and the profits will collapse anyway.

Post Brexit London will swallow up the vast amount of money that will be available after leaving the EU.
We'll see what kind of regional development cash is left over
