I'm a bit ****e when it comes to understanding politics, so I did this the other day to help me decide which way to vote.

Basically a load of questions, and it'll tell you at the end which party you most closely match with.
Ended up with 73% Labour as my highest. Tories were down at 49%, and Reform at 48% as the two lowest.

just done the one listed earlier - 66% green party and the rest lib dems. bit of an eye opener tbh!

TBF did agree with the Green's policies the most but not that enthused by the leaders and thought it would be best to vote tactically

Shows there's a real lack of a left option this time, and the switch from Labours in 2019 to now is just crazy
Wouldn’t waste your time mate, just give it four years then you’ll be able to sit with a massive smug grin on your face and say told you so. Going to be a rough ride but it’s happening!
It would be interesting to see the outcome if instead of being asked to out an x in a box, you had to fill in one of these online surveys and it chose your preference for you. I have a feeling the likes of the greens would do much better. At least that way we know people would be voting for what they want rather than a team they feel they should support.
The flip side of course is these policies are more than likely hollow promises. The green manifesto is largely felt to be completely unaffordable. Labour manifesto also said to be uncosted and not possible to achieve with the funding model they propose. In fact all parties are the same, promising what they cant deliver it seems.
Having said that, I have cast my vote and went for the policies I most appreciated and a local MP I feel will engage and represent us. I did it through gritted teeth because I have no expectation that the policies are anything other than an episode of Jackanory. Genuinely considered not voting, but I have never missed and cant bring myself to do it now.
I've done a couple of these surveys now and they've come out with a bit of everything. That reflects what I thought when I watched the TV debates. Every single one of them said things that I agreed with. And every single one of them said things that made me think they were absolutely clueless.
Did something similar a few weeks back and it came up with Green, so I voted Green.
I live in an extremely safe Labour seat and I hope they win, however i'm sick of voting for a party just because they are less bad than the other. Feel like if people read the smaller party manifestos the big two would have to work harder for votes.

The frenzied hair ruffling performance from Boris seems to have had little effect other than producing the spectacle of two hundred middle aged true blue Tories chanting 'Boris' ...
... just how boy band level hysteria, for a sacked PM, is supposed to help the current unelected one is a mystery. I've absolutely no idea what he said, just a jumble of assorted clichés.
At least the national reaction shows he's no longer regarded as anything more than a turn for HIGNFY , the after dinner circuit and international fundraising ...
... mainly for himself as usual

Just done similar and maybe a bit surprisingly I got the below split, although I knew they would be the 3 parties. I have 3 considerations here: 1) I've no idea who the Lib Dem candidate is, never had so much as even a leaflet. 2) My primary concern would have been to get rid of what we have, which really should mean a vote for Labour. 3) Lib Dem policies are clearly my preference but some of them feel a bit unrealistic.
On balance though, that website has changed my mind on how I'm going to vote, so thanks for sharing.

Thankfully the Euros start again tomorrow and the football season isn't far away ...
... then surely the summer will actually start and I can get walking again to various pubs
