Mine is different. I want to see what parties are commiting to do, then I assess whether they are realistic commitments or not. Then I choose who I will vote for. And I put local needs, then the needs of the needy, at the top of my list of importance.

After 14 years of lies, corruption and ineptitude I don't much care about the specific local needs of a rural community campaigning for a bypass tbh ...

... the whole country is in a mess and I've no faith in this rabble.

Even if it would hurt me, in my little corner, I'd vote them out for the good of the country.

And with that I'm off to work, cheers mate.

Local issues used to be a handy 'bullshitter filter'. Now that it's deliberately been dumbed down to red or blue, it allows people in it for less than altruistic reasons an easier way in.

Neither do l, but as a voter, l don't see a stand out party to vote for.
A man who didn't have Sky as a child, was Sky about when he was a child.
A man who can't tell me whether a woman can have Penis, a man who looks out of his depth near water, an an egotistical bloke from the local pub spouting nonsense, where the fxxk does that leave me as a voter. TMRLP's Nick the flying brick becomes a possibility.

Well, all manifestos out. Now we start to judge who is offering what to turn the country round. At least we now have the basis upon which to decide who to vote for.

I'd imagine most people, who'll vote, have already decided, I have.

The Tory party is shot to pieces imo.

Sunak is out campaigning mainly by talking to children and people in safe seats, last night was cringing.

And it's noticeable that few of his colleagues want to be seen with him, they don't want to be seen as a big part of the election loss.

I really believe there's so much infighting that Sunak didn't dare risk an Autumn election and a leadership challenge.

I've honestly no idea why he wants the job, I suspect it's the Asian thing he mentioned.

Whatever Sunak or any of this lot say, in a few short weeks, can't eradicate the last 14 miserable years.

We were supposed to have control of our borders, forty new hospitals, levelling up, wonderful NHS, etc etc etc.

Absolutely dreadful administration and fortunes simply wasted or going into the pockets of their friends.

I don't want coalition, especially if it involves anyone like Farage, so I'll vote for a party that will be in control and therefore totally culpable.

The last tory manifesto had 42 pledges/promises, or whatever you want to call them...42.
They have fulfilled/delivered on 2, (and one of them only partially).
Two, out of 42, in 5 years.

Can't wait to see this lot booted out, and the more that lose their seats, the better.

Well I’m not voting Tory in fact I am not even looking at their manifesto, I’ve always wanted a party in with a large majority, nobody else to blame for any s hite they dish up but themselves. So hopefully a coalition is out for me.

If Labour have a decent majority we can judge them properly and they won't be able to blame anyone ...

It's kind of irelevant what they promise, if you already know that you don't believe anything most of them say.

Plus, realistically most people don't have a choice of all the parties else they'd just be wasting their vote. It's a case of vote for the incumbent if that's who you like, else vote for their nearest rival if you want a change
