A genuine guy but not out an out striker. Another Jamie Mackie. Nothing wrong with that btw.

At 80 mins I logged off and went to the kitchen to make me some eggs and bacon just so I didn't have to witness the inevitable Fulham winner.
Couldn't believe what I saw when I logged back on?!!!! Great stuff, magnificent victory!

Now I've just seen the highlights and struggle to understand how we won that, but who gives a ****?!!!!! Up the R's!

With all that's happened this week, the players, coaches, bosses and most important, the fans all pulled together and we came up trumps. Great feeling, hopefully something to build on, and we might come to see a convincing win in the not to distant future.

Looks like we were on the end of a potential hiding. Smithies flapped a bit for their goal.

    6 month ban!!!

    <laugh><laugh><laugh><laugh><laugh>

I was going to post this earlier myself but forgot about it. I also thought it was a bit inappropriate as it should've said ... 'Fulham Are Ruperts.'

I bet their butlers got a good kicking when they returned home from the footie.

Great stuff, I wonder is that git Mason in the photo was considering booking a few of them for over celebration - what did we do to piss him off so much over the years?

Definitely a yes to Cuba, but I have no desire to visit Mexico with so much of this sort of **** happening on what seems like a daily basis:-

B.C. photographer found dead in Yucatan, Mexico, local official says

Barbara McClatchie's son says he believes his mother has been found dead in Mexico. (Barbara McClatchie)

A B.C. photographer has been found strangled to death in Mexico, according to a local official.

State prosecutor spokesman Baruch Velasquez said Barbara McClatchie Andrews, 74, was found dead Friday morning on the side of the highway connecting Merida with Cancun.

Andrews, formerly of Maple Ridge, B.C., had been living in Merida, the capital of Yucatan.

Her son, Julian Andrews, said his mother was supposed to arrive home in Merida yesterday, but never made it to her destination. He said he has not received any information from local authorities and instead heard the news from his mother's housekeeper in Mexico.

Andrews' work has appeared in National Geographic, as well as numerous galleries around the world.

Sorry, my childish mind has me in stitches at this. I do hope his energy and determination make up for his less lengthy dck.

I hope you feel recovered after a great day by the time you read this Col, I hope you have a fantastic holiday Fingy and I hope everyone else enjoys that return to the glorious feeling of having won at the weekend - it feels too long in coming.

Glad you added the last bit because I couldn't believe I'd lost memories of us winning away in London! I remember being at Spurs when we won 3-0 away the season we "won" the League, and getting kicked as soon as we took the lead. Other than that most memories from the Seventies are of both me and team getting kicked. Especially at West Ham and Arsenal. Our 82 semi final win over West Bromwich is the only time I remember us winning at Highbury when I was there.

From the highlights it looks like Smithies provided him with excellent competition for that award. On the negative side it seemed Fulham were able to run through our midfield at will.

A real shame. The southern part of Mexico was a great place to be early seventies, spent nearly a year there. Great people. I know people who have lived there a long time recently who also loved the place.
