interested about Matthew mainwaring. ex stockport i belive and swaggered about last wednesday in the 45 mins he was on the pitch without uprooting any trees. i am surprised his trial has been extended. maybe 45 mins isnt enough to judge. looked very ordinary to me
did you just rip that from the OWS no.1? or do you have inside info. i wondered if anymore trialist were played? we seem to be bringing em in for fun at the moment
It is just of the OWS Mussie. Matty Mainwaring had a couple of years at the Man United academy, before being released at 14 and moving to the Preston academy, where he was also released at 18 and signed for Stockport. He's been out for a year following a bad leg break and was released by Stockport last month. I'm surprised we're giving him a trial to be honest, he doesn't sound like anything special.
from the 45 mins i saw of him, i can't think he is any better than what we have is the reserves. Perhaps a little bigger with an arogant swagger that is nt present anywhere else? Maybe i are nt being fair after half a match.
i presume you mean excluding those in the first team week in week out..........in terms of potential - Fran McCaffery, Danny Emerton and Connor Townend....possibly the new guy keilan dillon if he signs. i used to think gavan holohan but something has happened there!!!

Ok he hasnt put a foot wrong in ages!! As you dont have him in your strongest 16 on the other thread, you obviously dont rate him either.
I think we have a strong squad and no, Adebola wouldn't be in my chosen 16 for the next match. But he gets an absolute bitch of a time on these boards, he's one of our players and everyone just wants to have a pop at him, it makes no sense. It's not like he's on the pitch messing it up every game he's just not played. It's a good thing we have enough good players to leave some out completely for a prolonged period. But if we do need him at some point he deserves a bit of support from us. The point is proven in this thread where it was mentioned he had scored and someone quickly jumped in and had to make a joke that it must have been an accident or something, when actually it was a very good goal.
