In the PL he'd have been crap for us but the Championship is his level. I'm avoiding writing his christian name.

****ing people on Twitter going on about his 'fingers on lips' celebration for Cardiff being unforgivable. He'd just come on and scored a key goal for his employers after getting a **** load of abuse. What did they ****ing expect?

Set of bellends.

Looking back it was quite funny.

All part of the game isn't it, I've given him plenty of abuse, but I'll be singing his name after his first goal , then when he leaves us again , back to abuse

Id be happy to be wrong

But this probably means hernandez is leaving next ha

I know we don't want to lose any more players, but he's better than Hernandez. Not sure how quick he is these days, but Hernandez never has been, and Campbell isn't scared of physical defenders or heading the ball.

It wasn't that one that pissed me off, Sunderland away was far worse.

Not that I give a **** now, we need a Championship quality striker and he is one.

His stats since he left us are pretty ****e , hope it's mainly because he hasn't had long runs in the starting line ups

I think that's exactly it. He did alright for Cardiff but apart from that he's always been in the PL hasn't he? He's always been either injured or not getting a game due to being at a club with plenty of other strikers. Every so often he pops up doing something decent though. For us, a club with a chronic striker shortage, I think he's ideal.

don't agree he's better than hernandez, different but i think they'd work together well

Remember Dean Windass getting shed loads of abuse when he played against us for Bradford City. Took it like a true professional.

Yes I do. But he's from Hull and still had to spend a lot of time in the City. Plus he was a lot more mature than Campbell was. If the same happened at 29 he probably wouldn't do it.

Gotta love everyone making excuses for him now he's about to sign again, he's a **** and he always will be but that's ok, every good team has a handful of twats.
