It’s all about fine margins. Had we defended Mandron’s last minute shot, and not got beat off Rochdale, we would be celebrating automatic promotion tonight. Mind you could say that about a lot of dropped points last season i.e disallowed goal against Bolton on Boxing Day.

We can only hope mate. My feeling is that if something is going to happen it'll happen quickly because I think it would have been as a result of 2 prices being agreed depending on what league we were in. That question being settled would mean they could move quickly (if that happened it would have to be FPP who already have £9m in the club and have done DD). If it drags on a few weeks then sadly I think it'll be Donald and co again

Really hope your right. I worry though that FPP are used to playing the long game and may be happy just to let it all completely fall apart then pick up the pieces.

At the height of the takeover I answered everyone on the boards, pm's, texts, etc. I was also being sent masses of info from all kinds of people, some respected RTG posters, and having to check it with other trusted people to corroborate it
All that effort resulted in endless attacks, Mod warnings and threats of legal action.
Everything I posted was either genuine first hand info or secondhand from a mate of Methven, a lad whose lass works at the club, etc.
The takeover was described to me as a done deal, later 'confirmed' by Ross, BBC, etc and of course, as a lifelong Sunderland supporter, got myself very excited.
That's all, no intention to mislead anyone.

I seem to recall you have always been at pains to mention you were passing on info as a fan and not after plaudits or the abuse that came your way.
