Manchester United just announced losses.

They are the financial untouchables. Only £3million but it’s a marker, and shows what’s coming.
Yeah I literally just put SSN on there and seen. No, definitely not a good sign.

Not a huge loss, but I can't remember the last time they posted a loss.

Scary times for the Premier league

If they introduce a salary cap, they should put the clubs with the biggest turnovers in to the Championship, and then start it. It's not as if they havent done this before. Sunderland and Donny lasses were both demoted two leagues to allow teams like Man Utd and West Ham to progress when they restructured the WSL.

Aye but that's lasses football.

I totally agree, but cant see it happening in the proper game.

Looking at the proposed PPG table, it’s going to be finished.

I can only see 8 teams voting to play on, its gone against us that Portsmouth would be in there, and without weighted PPG Wimbledon won’t be swayed.

It’s another season in the 3rd for sure. The only hope is an appeal against the Bolton thing that would completely change the league around. For all it would be fair to remove their results, it ain’t gonna happen.

I fear you're right mate
What a time to be a Sunderland supporter
Cant even make the playoffs in the 3rd Division

That's just it. It won't.No consistency at all. Don't know how the hell they would get this up and running for next season mind. It'll cause chaos.

The killer is that points gap after Ipswich.

There’s not enough teams with an outside chance to swing it. Burton aren’t swinging 12 points in 11 games. It’s ****ed.
I reckon Oxford to Gillingham on 51pts, then Tranmere makes 10 clubs. Only need to lean on 2 other clubs and we could have a vote to resume playing, whenever that may be.

Aye but out of them Wycombe won’t go and neither will Portsmouth given they are in playoffs in this scenario.
Suppose Wycombe might not, Pompey have said they will. My mentality would be to try and achieve it over the 9 games or whatever rather than risk the play offs.
