Wonder what he means by auction.... Could be one of 2 things, Either SD is dropping his price and letting any potential buyer battle it out.. Or he's planning on selling the stadium to the highest bidder but even SD isn't that stupid is he? I don't care what people say Nixon clearly gets fed information in my opinion
They took mine off me at the security desk last ones I worked at. Had to have a proper passport sticker for my laptop was only thing allowed to bring on site.
We need to keep the pressure on for answers, the quicker Donald sells the better... However if there are no buyers, as hinted at by Phillips, we are doomed to third division obscurity
@reluctantnicko any update on Sunderland Alan surely someone wants the club or is it still price or other stuff ??? Nixon reply Still want too much. Watch out for a new auction attempt shortly ... lad asking the question reply: Hhmmm any hints Alan ??? Nixon reply : Anything you write pushes the price up. That doesn’t do anybody any good. Apart from the seller. And I’m not into that ...
What does Nixon mean by this? Nixon reply : Anything you write pushes the price up. That doesn’t do anybody any good. Apart from the seller. And I’m not into that ... Doesnt make any sense to me
Not sure about that but I think we will know fairly quickly once the EFL end the season which I’m sure will happen.
we going to be stuck with the twat as i said before no one is gonna pay his pay his ridiculous asking price for us especially in league one we are totally ****ed sadly
The worst thing that could happen is if he continues to run us as a mid-table run of the mill League 1 side. The best would be promotion, and interest from investors (hopefully FPP). Stuck between the two is another relegation, which would mean he would have to lower his price again.
we are in danger of becoming a run of the mill league one club for a good few years if this clown keeps hold of us. No kids coming through the ranks as they've been sold off and replacing out of contract first teamers with inferior players. We might be lucky to be League One if he keeps up this pace as well
I have to believe that this Virus, the uncertainty about future income and the massive amount of out of contract players will force SD to lower his asking price and get rid before it really starts affecting his personal wealth.
Don’t think he can have an auction as he needs fpp permission to sell to anyone because of the Conditions of the loan he accepted from them, at least I think that’s the case
“Stop talking I’m bored” I reckon. I doubt there’s a conspiracy to fix the price based on Nixon’s Twitter account. It looks like Stew is still holding out on the rapidly disappearing chance of SAFC somehow going up this season. Otherwise the club is going to be draining his bank account all the way to administration. Eventually his survival instincts will kick in and he’ll agree to sell at a sensible price but god knows what state the club will be in.
Think the FPP boat sailed long ago. I firmly believe that they have no desire at all to take ownership of our club. So who will end up as the new owner is anyone's guess, but we live in hope that it's someone who does have a pot to piss in!
I'm not disagreeing but I do find this puzzling tbh. Why would these people 'loan' £10 million with no interest charges? And why would they put themselves in a position where they could wake up, one morning, owning a club they have no interest in owning? Wouldn't it be much easier not to loan the club money?
