I dont trust a word he says and agree 100% Hes is the total opposite of what a north east football fan is this included mags boro as not all of their fans are idiots. He is a horrible smarmy southern posh ponce and I wish hed **** off.
that's the one bit I didn't get. Juan was supposed to move to London so hasn't been around as much as suggested, "Whilst Madrox is the owner of Sunderland AFC, Juan is fully committed and more involved than ever in the running of the club. He has been delayed in a proposed move to London but Juan is expecting to spend more time in England and as a result will be more visible in the future once this happens.”
Those statements in the Echo, are about as clear as Bonko's pronouncements... Unless something happens quickly we are in the Turd division for some time..
The “we can afford to fund the club” line always makes me wonder why we took a loan out or am I missing something?
There's an alternative scenario that would fit the circumstances but would be scary. If FPP have really invested in Donald, as he claims, that's Madrox who are supposed to be pursuing 'other sporting avenues'. That could be another football club with FPP going with them and SAFC being ditched. There'll be a few clubs up for sale quite soon. I was recently told about a consortium who were looking at buying us so it could happen.
Seems to me that nobody knows much...much like this covid 19 stuff so What’s going to happen first? A cure/vaccine for Coronavirus or we get new ownership of the club? My £2.50 is on the vaccine! FTM
I hope not, that would be one of the most scurrilous bits of business by both parties imaginable and I would hope both parties, whatever their faults, are not that way inclined. I took the madrox stuff to be guff, fwiw. Just a convenient excuse to hide some of their dealings and put the cat among the pigeons by mentioning madrox potentially buying elsewhere. Load of bollocks.
If Donald & Methven did this, the level of surprise among Sunderland supporters would range between 'Meh' and 'Reetio'. I'm not saying I believe its what is happening ... ... but I don't think it's impossible. It certainly makes you think.
This is starting to look bleaker and bleaker by the day. To me it seems to open up a way out for fpp to invest in a different club (oxford perhaps?) You certainly can see a situation where Donald flips it to someone like a Campbell type figure and it makes it worse. Enough to make you physically sick.
Sartori the other day said he wants to buy a club in uruguay to be a feeder club for Sunderland, could just be that
