I’m handing this one over to you, I’m off to Blackpool in the morning and not coming back till Sunday. I think I’ve made my point quite clear on this one. Smug can offer him a bet again.
At what point did I say he needs to keep YOUR face straight? Perhaps the same point I said I thought Donald deserved a profit. And you have the nerve to claim I’m twisting things. Behave yourself man. He won’t be wanting to lose money on any of this and if that means hanging on to what HE believes is the right price, that’s what he’ll do until perhaps his hand his forced. Maybe these FPP blokes or whoever else maybe interested are calling Donald’s bluff. Who knows. Maybe FPP and other interested parties (if any exist) are trying to take Donald’s eyes out. Again we don’t know. I’ll criticise Donald for being a gobshite, I’ll criticise him for not acting decisively in sacking Ross and I’ll criticise him for making a poor appointment in Parkinson. I won’t have a go at a bloke based on nothing but guesswork which is what you’re doing.
I am not sure it's guesswork. There were plenty of snippets in the public domain around the time. It wasn't all bullshit but it became bullshit once the deal unravelled and Donald started making stuff up to cover up what had gone on.
Do we know what FPP offered? Do we know what Donald is asking? (Not some ‘reported’ figure either) . Do we know that FPP pulled out or stepped back as he was asking too much? I totally get people are hurting at our situation , it’s shocking and our brilliant fans deserve better but imo there’ll be more to this than just Donald being greedy.
The ****ing evidence is there man. You won’t criticise him, but claim “if any interested parties exist”, yet he himself has said there were 5 just a couple of weeks ago. I remember you on the SMB saying the same time and time again, it’s not worth conversing with you because you completely ignore the points put in front of you. If you cared to read my post, you claimed he would sell for a profit, businessman won’t want to pay a profit because he hasn’t done anything to deserve it, ergo he is asking too much as far as they are concerned. You won’t have a go at a bloke who introduced new owners to the staff, cannot sell the club despite having 5 interested parties and had two failed takeovers last year. The whole board is made up of guesswork man, no one will know all of the facts, but some are bright enough to read between the lines. Others, well they bury their head and cover themselves in tinfoil. If all we had to talk about was facts, it would be a pretty **** message board. Most people can make reasoned judgment on the evidence put in front of them, even a civil court works on the balance of probability. Which in this case is stacked heavily against Stewart Donald.
What evidence? How interested were the 5 parties? The only evidence we have is that Donald wants to sell but nobody has met his asking price. We have no idea if that price is too unreasonable. You want Donald to be the villain and I get that as fans we want somebody to blame or lash out at but on this one I think you’re being overly rash.
What 5 parties, you don’t believe they exist, you just believe in fairies and that. We also know that he introduced new owners to the staff, and they were at the Wimbledon game. That’s quite a bit of evidence right there, just ignore it if you wish. I backed Donald from the start and was right behind him, things have turned sour though. You see most people would exercise their brain now and again and work things out from the bits that they have. Others just shut up shop I mean before the Rovers game on Tuesday, you claimed over the road, that you thought we had no chance of promotion. That was guesswork and completely against the evidence in front of you. Now before you twist that, you reckon there was no chance, there was and still is. You managed to use guesswork to come to that conclusion but are ignoring all the little snippets about Donald. I’m not sure why, but you also did the same over the road, refusing to believe that anyone’s was interested, despite them looking around the stadium You pick and choose when to use your own guesswork, yet castigate others when they do. This isn’t about wanting Donald to be the villain, I want my club to be successful again. We know he has turned down offers, of course we don’t know what those were, of course FPP will try and get it at their price, that is what businessmen do. They will only pay what it is worth, no more. Again ergo it is the belief of self made millionaires that he is asking too much. We don’t know what it is worth, so by your criteria we shouldn’t be judging. Like I say though some are bright enough to read between the lines, others just bury their head in the sand and hope it goes away.
If you are selling something it is only worth what someone else is prepared to pay for it. If nobody is prepared to pay Donald's asking price, it it is not worth that asking price. End of story.
It is also the belief of another self made millionaire (donald) that they didn’t offer enough. You have no idea what the offer is or what Donald is asking so as I said previously you’re guessing.
You’re just guessing that they didn’t offer enough. The point is that you keep failing to accept is that they have not matched what he wants for the club, FPP, nor the 5 interested parties which SD has mentioned. You don’t need to be The Brain of Britain, and you are clearly not, to assume he is wanting too much. Like I say, it is balanced judgement based on what we know, normal people can and do it every single minute of the day. You on the other hand can’t make an informed decision without full facts, that speaks more of you than anyone else. However since we know who you are, I didn’t need to say the latter. It’s a message board, full of guesswork, assumptions, supposition and everything else. If you want hard evidence and don’t want to exercise your noggin, go and play on a lawyers forum.
I’d say it’s pretty clear that nobody has matched what Donald wants given the club is up for sale and it’s still unsold. You keep ranting away though. That’ll get the club sold quicker.
Your last sentence is nonsense, a bit like all of your posts on here. You can’t even deduce that no one has matched his price, therefore logically no one thinks the club is worth it, and ergo it is overpriced. You’ve wrapped yourself up so much, you’ve ended up agreeing without admitting.
5 people could view your house and not believe it’s worth it. You either A. Fold and accept an offer out of desperation or B. Hold your nerve in the hope that perhaps that 6th viewer gives you what you want. You keep pushing pins in your little Donald voodoo doll though.
