I think you might be disappointed, Hes quite slow and misses an awful lot of sitters but scores some great goals.

    Perfect youtube striker.

What do I know though? haha.

You should be playing Kamara anyway.

Finland might be able to give us a fight to be fair but they could only manage a draw against Spain last night.

I think Vucinic is going to rape Lescott and Smalling on Tuesday (or Wednesday?) - in a footballing sense you sickos.

I'm happy with the signing for 3 reasons. Firstly our current scouting team were responsible for bringing Bassong, Tettey and Turner to us in the summer, who have all been excellent this season, truly a cut above what we had last season, so if they like him, I'm confident he can do the business. Secondly United, Liverpool, Newcastle and Tottenham were all interested, and we fought off a late bid from Spurs to sign him. Thirdly his release clause was £18.5m, so to pick him up for £10m less is a steal. Even if we go down now we could sell him on in the summer and still make a profit. His 4 year deal means he isn't leaving on the cheap if he comes good, but if he doesn't his wages don't supposedly break our current structure.

I like Kamara, he's only on loan though for the moment. I want to see him starting on the left wing though, which we're yet to see. Certainly offers something a bit different though.

Oh, and did I mention he's called Ricky Van Wolfswinkel? Surely going to be the best name in the PL next season.

In reality... that would likely be less painful than most England performances.

I reckon England-Montenegro will be a terrible game, probably end in a 0-0 draw.

    Anyone watching Sunderland v United?

I feel sorry for Sunderland fans, O'Neill's football is just horrible. All the possession they've had, a United goal seems inevitable here.

Sunderland (the club, not the fans) seem to be sleepwalking towards relegation. I'll say that and they'll now beat United 2-1, but they've got a difficult run-in, and missing key players now. Agree the football they play is far from attractive, I still can't believe they couldn't beat us a fortnight ago.

I think they've just had their first shot on target in the 90th minute.

    6 minutes extra time though.

25 league wins out of 30 league games is phenomenal. What's the record points tally? is it Chelsea with 95?

united have 80 now with 21 more points available. I think they could beat that the way they're playing. How people call them average I don't know. Sorry they don't beat every team 7-0.

    EDIT: It's 77 with 24 points left.

It's odd, United haven't been incredible to watch this season, they've just been incredibly clinical. They just keep churning out results.

They're a class team mate, it's just because they don't smash teams 5-0 every other week that people put them down. On their way to a premier league record points tally this season.

DH, your team are grim. I think you'll do we'll to get a win today. I'm a Reading, Swansea and Southampton fan here.

We've just had the easiest 1st half ever, and have only got 1 goal to show for it.

We've looked ok so far this afternoon, far from anything special though. This season is all about grinding out survival now for us, and our favoured route appears to be to bore the rest of the league into submission. Frankly though I'd take 0-0 today though, we don't deserve anything else. We're going to rebuild in the summer though, so hopefully we'll be more attractive to watch next season.
As someone on the BBC live text said, Brian McDermott must be the best manager in the world to get 23 points with that rabble. We've got them at home soon, fingers crossed we can get 3 points not 1 for a change.

Having Bassong in my fantasy team has worked wonders this year mate!

Not a great day for us so far with Spurs and Arsenal winning both 2-0 now. At least Chelsea are losing though. Just need to make sure we win later.

Job done, now roll on WBA. Chelsea are in danger of being the team to miss out.

Great win for us today! We needed to bag another 3 points to keep us up in the middle of the table. Well deserved today I think.

Sorry DH, I'd much rather have seen Norwich win than Wigan. As for Reading, well, what can I say that hasn't already been said.

I want sunderland to get relegated, so it's a shame they've sacked him. But MON is an awful manager, always has been.

    I don't mind Sunderland, I just can't stand Martin O'Neill.

Wonder who'll replace him? Di Canio maybe?

Alan Shearer must be gutted haha
