If I were in England I'd gladly play some football with you guys! Thanks, I certainly hope we do well too! My Dad's side of the family - the English side - all hail from Essex, so they probably don't live to far away I would imagine
Blackburn Rovers fan here Not a massive fan of football, but I do enjoy watching the odd game or two, but I certainly don't go every week.
He is amazing I will admit, but I thought we put up a good challenge and could've potentially earned a draw had we put more of our chances away. But that's football I guess and you can't make them all. Still, I have more confidence now that we can put up a fight against the top sides.
You guys had it pretty rough in the prem before getting relegated (sorry to bring up old wounds, we got relegated too so I know the feeling). Its probably a good thing that you guys finally got rid of Steve Kean! He never seemed like he a clue what to do.
Liverpool fan.. we've seen as many false dawns as that shocking vampire movie! Oh well, there's always next year
Chances are that there will be a riot I was there at the Olympics when the two countries played in Handball and it kicked off even then, what are they going to do when qualifying for the world cup is at stake? Will be supporting Croatia though as they have Derby legend Igor Stimac in charge, hope he can come back and manage us soon!
I was only going to watch it for Jelavic but he's on the bench. I'll watch anyway mind. I predict 3 red cards,9 yellow cards, 4,000 ejected from the stadium and 67 stabbings.
They are literally prepared to fight each other in any sport http://www.guardian.co.uk/football/gallery/2013/mar/22/croatia-serbia-sporting-rivalry#/?picture=406033874&index=0
Have you ever played it? It's ridiculous. You can't see what's happening underwater, so pretty much anything goes. I played a few times with a mens team when I was about 15, and if you had the ball they'd just hold you under the water until you drowned or gave the ball up.
Wise that they haven't allowed any Serbians in the ground. just 35,000 Croats. 2-0 at half time, Mandzukic and Olic. Serbia aren't posing a thread. I didn't know they had such an established back four. Ivanovic, Subotic, Nastasic and Kolorov.
You just need your team to announce a beast of a striker signing late on Friday night, and the high will take you through the weekend.
