Reached 5 bookings for the season quite early... Interesting choices ahead for LJ, I'd like to see Younger promoted to the team as he is more mobile than Wright...
For my money Wright is probably the least mobile and the least best of our centre backs, yet LJ seems to be very enamoured with him so I expect him to start.

What I would like would be Younger or Alves.

Shame for Flannigan as he has done really well, and the booking on Saturday was a joke. I think he will go with Wright for his experience
Joke is an understatement. Embarrassing from the goalkeeper and then the referee. I sit directly behind the North Stand goal and could see it clear as day. The goalkeeper knew exactly what he was doing. Flanagan done absolutely nothing wrong. I try not to swear when the bairn is with me at the game but I couldn’t help myself this time. Absolute joker of a referee we had at the weekend.

I have to say I wouldn’t be keen on a 20 year old and an 18 year old, even if Doyle plays like he’s 28.

I’m ok with Wright/Doyle

Well Doyle has a mistake in him...he's a little too casual for me,but, I wouldn't leave him out for the moment,he has something more than Wright.
I would try Alves to come in alongside Doyle......Younger on the bench.

Hmm, I think what I will do is to keep my own counsel.

If the pairing that LJ chooses comes good, I will say that is what I would have done. If the pairing proves dreadful, I will say I told you so, it was never going to work.

So please keep this a secret, as I want to appear prescient.

Ps Wright/Doyle

Lj has been leaning towards Wright up to now so I’d say him and Doyle Albers on the bench. I’d like to see Albee mind ya see what he’s made of

Do we know who would be the most comfortable playing on the right of Doyle? as having that balance of a naturally right footed and left footed centre half has worked well (I think that there is their natural feet, it certainly appears so).
Looking at Blackpool away in the cup, Alves played the right centre half position so not sure if that is his favoured side.

Assume it'll be Wright as he appears to be 3rd choice CB. What that means for Alves and the playing time he'll get this season remains to be seen. I'd assume West Ham sent him out expecting he'd be getting a decent amount of game time....
