Really poor start to the second half. We've lost composure and are letting them create half chances.
Getting drawn into a physical battle too, which doesn't suit us.
Communication at the back looks a bit off, which I guess is expected.
 
Don't understand why we didn't get a foul there. Partizan looking the more likely to score. We need a sub or three. An attempt at an ambitious pass, practically a first for us, but Townsend can't quite catch up to it.
 
Poor control from someone (low-res broadcast) Paulinho? Stambouli? Anyway, it looked like it could have been our best chance. It's the pixillated yellow blobs against the pixillated white blobs. A low standard of play has gotten even lower in the second half, although the pace has picked up a bit.

Oofa.

Love Townsend as I do, it's a sign I don't rate someone when I'm disappointed on some level when I see he can continue.

And now we've lost the ability to pass.

Lamela and Soldado in. Paulinho, not Kane, out. Interesting. Paulinho probably has a different word for it.

That's a poor clearance.

I don't know what happened to Kane there.
 
Finally books one of their players. Very delayed.
Stupid cart thing coming on to cut up the turf even more. Dumb.

Lamela on for Townsend, Soldado on for Paulinho. The Brazilian did very little.
Two up top? Kane was dropping deep anyway.
 
Soldado with a great delivery and Kane just seems to have misread it slightly, as did his marker.
Virtually an open goal had he got on the end of it.
 
Stambouli with a decent ball into the box, though it would've been hard for Soldado to score from there. Better.
 
Lazovic joins in the diving, sprawling to the ground for no apparent reason.
 
Full twist with a half gainer for the Partizan man on the goal kick. Comedy compilation stuff.

Funny how they always get the decision when it rolls over the endline. I thought we were getting two corners, looked up, and saw a goal kick.

Lamela is quality.

Foul on Lennon after the roughhousing they haven't been getting called for? It's another away night in Europa...

I don't think it was over the line, either.

Naughton has turned into a whirling dervish.
 
Another dodgy dive. Getting muscled off the ball by Lennon is embarrassing.
