How is it fatally flawed?

All I'm saying is while money is a big factor on who finishes where, you just can't pick a number out of your head and say, Oh well, if we completely ignore these teams we finished in 4th place in the best of the rest.

If my argument is floored, I will ask this question. How did supers come up with the number seven to ignore? when you had a team that finished 5th the season before, that finished below you?

Thats hardly a example for a moderator to act Dave, I'm going to drop the sudject now because i know that there is no way that supers can back his theory up and that you would agree with him if he said the grass was blue and the sky was green, and would openly welcome verbal abuse rather than open debate on supers theory.

The thing is i won't, the rules are there and you have to get on with it. I might moan once, but i sure the hell won't make some rule up ignoring teams because I'm acting a spoilt brat because somebody has more money than me.

It's no surprise. Savage has been desperate to see us relegated since we got promotion and has always predicted it. I would ignore it or enjoy it because their arguments are usually so flawed as to make Guru seem coherent and encourage me that the opposite of what they predict is more likely.

Guru, the point was made about 30 posts ago that you weren't debating Supes theory. That was the problem. You are picking holes in a generalisation, so your argument and his argument aren't even at odds. The fact that you are persisting is why everyone has got so annoyed because you are deaf to this.

Bringing up the "act like a moderator" line is soooooooo last year (!) and has been resoundingly discredited so I suggest you drop it.

he's never going to let it go about the 3-2 game when he took an age to go off!

best odds i can see are:
Palace 4/7
hull 8/11
cardiff 19/10
norwich 47/17
stoke 10/3
sunderland 6/1
fulham 7/1

so not much between cardiff us and stoke at the mo, no suprise

I reported you because of the boring your stupid jibes Dave when somebody questions your mate, I thought you were more grown up than that. but obviously i was wrong! I will leave you too it.

I'm at work so can't check odds - what are they like for Newcastle - they must have plummeted. As Shearer said, they are currently a laughing stock and I feel very sorry for the fans
 
Most of the bookies still see City as a Club buying lower league players and hoping to hang on again. The signing of RvW and the talks with Toivonen have escaped them completely, it would seem.
 
Going back to the fixtures, I wonder if the final four games might work in City's favour. Hopefully the title will be sorted early and the games will mean more to us than them.

Could even turn out like WBA and ManCity this year! :1980_boogie_down:
